Parents need to know that this series is a safe, friendly place where imaginations meet common sense. The characters deal with real-life situations and come up with answers that are relevant to viewers' lives. The show is bright and cheerful, and the content is appropriate for even very young children.
Families can discuss the themes of the series and how they relate to themselves. What characters are kids most drawn to? Can they relate scenarios back to their own life?

The animation in TODDWORLD looks like a child's drawing -- bright colors and funny shapes abound. In each episode, Todd and his friends confront a challenge: a strange plant that suddenly pops out of the ground, or a lost baby platypus. The friends have to figure out how to deal with their many obstacles in a way that will be fun for young viewers.
The lessons are simple but good: don't judge someone until you know them, and you don't have to look the same to be a family (the platypus' mom turns out to be a kangaroo). Everyone is accepted, and spontaneous, imaginitive ideas and playfulness are encouraged.
There's not a lot of joking or fooling around, just straightforward-but-gentle lessons about basic life lessons. It's a nice show for families to watch together and could easily lead to good discussions about how the show's situations occur in everyday life.
