What Parents Need to Know
About ToonHeads
Parents need to know that this documentary-style series provides an insightful, behind-the-scenes look at some of the world's most iconic cartoons. With topics that range from the evolution of Elmer Fudd to the million voices of Don Messick, the series is both engaging and educational. The fact that it's a documentary may turn off kids who are expecting straight-up cartoon wackiness, but those who are really interested in animation will be fascinated. One caution: Some of the featured 'toons -- in addition to being brilliant and hysterical -- have a fair share of violence, now-dated stereotypes, and innuendo.
