It is a really good show and you don't have to like cars or know anything about them to find it interesting or funny. It's perfect for teens to watch but not sutible for young kids to watch alone because of the language and they do mention sex a lot. There is nothing too bad but when my little sister watchs it with me she starts asking 'those questions' It has loads of differnet parts, like challenges and car reviews so if you don't like one part there's always another. It's a great show the whole family can enjoy. :)

What Parents Need to Know
About Top Gear
Parents need to know that this one-of-a-kind British car show -- which will entertain auto enthusiasts with its hilarious blend of fact and comedy -- is pretty clean overall. "Damn" is about as strong as the language gets, and while there's no outright sexual or drinking content, one host talks about his former cigarette habit, and the guys' habit of drawing comparisons between cars' appearance and sexual/body part terms (comparing a small pink car to a scrotum, for example) is sure to make older tweens giggle. The hosts put cars through an array of stunts, some of which result in (injury-free) crashes.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about whether shows like this are educational. Does this show teach viewers anything? What, and how? Do you find the information credible? Does the series' fun nature in any way detract from how seriously you take what the hosts say? Families can also discuss road safety and responsible-driving guidelines, as well as the popularity of cars in our society. What do cars say about our lifestyle and financial status? Why do we value car ownership so much? What freedoms do cars give us? Tweens: What types of cars do you like? Why?

Good for ten and up.
This is a really good program that my dad introduced me to. I'm not really into cars, but you don't need to be a car lover to like this show. It is hilarious, yet cringy sometimes. The Content is appropriate for kids over ten, because there are a lot of jokes about private parts( Mostly noticeable in the Episode special in Japan). They use the word c**k and Scr***m a lot. otherwise, it is totally appropriate.

The Greatest Car program, EVER!
Now, I've waited a long time for this, I have always loved this show and I've always wanted to tell the whole world what an absolute gem it is. Ever since James May has joined the show, its just gotten better and better what with the mad challenges and the insane antics these guys get up to is enough to make your life complete. It used to be a show about buying used cars and what cars are like to live with. They still tell your what its like to live with £125,000 TVRs and £1,000,000 Bugatti Veyrons. But they just tell you what its like to live with some of the most powerful, beautiful, expensive, well known and frankly best cars ever. Someone made a video on Youtube that was a tribute to the show and at the start he wrote "Most of us will never own our dream car. This is a tribute to the show that lets us know what its like." And that is exactly what they do, and well. I always admired Jeremy Clarkson's Childishness, knowledge, optimism, passion and offensiveness. I've never stopped agreeing with James May's theories (however boring), Truthfulness, Honesty, and the fact that his ego is as big as a G-WIZ. I've always enjoyed Richard Hammond be wrong about parking a camper van on a boat and calling it a canal boat, or that an M3 doesn't make you look like a cock, or that his £10,000 Ferrari is actually a Ferrari. The headline says that this is the greatest car program ever and that Fifth Gear can go f?#k themselves. But truthfully, I believe that from the bottom of my heart, Top Gear is and always will be, the greatest T.V. program ever.

Yes it is Top Gear
This show is suprisingly fantastic, even if you don't like car shows. Some of the episodes are funny. One thing I like about this show is the celebrity guests that they make take a lap in the show car to see were they go on the scoreboard.
