What's the Story?
In ARCTIC EXPOSURE WITH NIGEL MARVEN, zoologist Nigel Marven travels the Canadian tundra to observe native wildlife. The series includes stunning scenes of creatures like arctic foxes, walruses, and polar bears in their natural, snowy surroundings, with Marven's knowledgeable narration offering insight into their behavior. Throughout his travels, Marven also explains the geographical and atmospheric factors that bring such impressive seasonal changes to the area.
Is It Any Good?
The show's beautiful scenery and close-up views of nature will simultaneously educate and entertain the entire family. Marven's obvious enthrallment with his wildlife encounters is infectious, and viewers of all ages will be inspired by what they see. With some prompting, the show can easily jump-start discussions about the environment, global warming, and conservation.
