Parents need to know that the newborn babies featured in this reality series are often shown still covered with birthing matter right after they're born; although the shots can be slightly graphic, they're not usually close up. Also, younger viewers may be upset by the complications that sometimes occur in the delivery room, which potentially put the mother and/or baby in peril. Young children should definitely have an adult present while watching the show to provide guidance and explain what's happening in certain scenes. But overall, this is a great family show that could be used as a springboard to talk to little kids about where babies come from.
Positive messages:Couples and family members are shown being supportive of each other during what can be a difficult and exhausting time.
Violence & scariness:No violence, but some of the births can have complications, and babies are often shown covered in birthing matter.
well its good for little girls because they will learn what its like when they give birth when they are grown up and it will teach them what its like when your pregnant i teaches them stuff i watched when i was 8 its good but when the babys are born the are coverd with stuff it could scare little kids when the moms are in pain when screaming
This show is not inappropriate, but young kids who don't know where babies come from probably shouldn't watch this show. This show contains references to female body parts associated with birth and/or reproduction and scenes of the women screaming may scare younger kids.
Cute show that portrays how the miricle of life can change someone's world around. Mothers are shown giving birth, which can be a bit upsetting when you see the pain they are going through. Yet all pain is forgotten once the baby is in the mothers arms. Adorable and enlightening documentaries.
