Flashy Super-hero cartoon.
This cartoon isn't the most recent, but taking place in the future means awesome graphics. And the show isn't THAT violent. The main character has Spider-man's humor. My fave Batman cartoon.

12+ should be able to watch
Well, the worst part of it is Terry (the "new" Batman) often makes journeys to the nightclub with his girlfriend. There can be seen flashing lights, tight dresses, and sometimes a couple balls are suspended from the ceiling with girls inside, dancing like everyone else.(Don't worry, all it shows are silhouettes. Terry also has some authority issues when learning from the original batman, but learns to respect authority, and Bruce Wayne (the original batman) grows to like him and becomes a father figure, considering Terry's father was murdered early on in the show...

Fine for the older tween
My older brother and I look at this show together sometimes, I must say he liked it more than I did but it's still I nice show. Some episodes may at times be sad, happy, fun, action packed, or just plain crazy but over all it's a show that feels better when you watch it with somebody.

Father and son show
My son and I love superhero shows and this is our favorite. It appeals to more mature minded children, and it is rewarding and intelligent for those viewers. There is violence, as you would expect, but it is not as extreme as the Batman films.

OK for little kids, but more for tweens.
Batman beyond is a very good show that follows what happens to Bruce when he gets older. There is a positive message, but Bruce is a very negative old person, which is not that good. Not as violent as you think! Parents, please take the time to watch it with the kids. I also rated it a little sexy because there is some dancing that younger children do not need to see. There is a few kissing scenes, bad enough to make some people squirm.

It is not thaaat violent.
The show is pretty violent, but not nearly as violent as Commonsense says it is. Batman occasionally bleeds from being punched or kicked hard. As for gore, I did not see anything in first 7 or 8 episodes. If there is any, don't expect it in the first 8 episodes. There are some "sexy" characters in the show. I don't know what csm was talking about. Maybe they saw an uncut version.

good show
