unmissable great show
i love this show soooooooooooo so so so much and its ok for me i think :)its a bit violent but other wise its good .this show is my fav tv show of all time :)

i watched this series on TV in Australia. a good show, but the content would suggest it is definitely for older viewers. i would suggest 17years and older. there are some positive messages about relationships, trust, love, etc

love it but not for kids and people who hate blood. Last week a man got cut open alive with a saw . Do you want children seeing stuff like this. 15+ DEFINATLEY.

Great for older viewers but not for young teens
This is a can't miss show for me but not for my 15-year-old. Too much to explain and things I don't want her to see yet.

Splendid Show for 16+
I've seen 3 seasons and it's a great show as long as you can put up with strong language (including "f--k", "s--t", everything in between), violence, and nudity. Several scenes show the bodies of deceased men or women in the morgue. The setting is very dark and dramatic. Tons of violence; screaming, blood (lots of vampires), gore, gun shots, stabbings, car accidents. I suggest watching it if your 16+ years of age, and can put up with this stuff.

I rated this low cause this genre is not for me. However, my 14 yr old wants to watch it and it is a little too much. This is a show for adults and should not be marketed to young teens. 18 and up.

Some Violence and Sex, Still Worth Watching
I think this is an excellent show, but is best for older teens and adults. It has generally positive messages, but the characters are not perfect. The main vampire, Mitchell, tries very hard to control his blood lust, but ends up giving in to it with some very gory results. Vampire and werewolf attacks are rarely shown, but their aftermath can be extremely bloody. There are some quick, half-clothed sex scenes and a lot of loving kissing (all heterosexual). George is shown almost totally naked after the full moon, but there is nothing sexual about it. It is very awkward for him and for the viewer. Mitchell smokes a bit and there is some occasional drinking, but no one gets drunk.
Despite what I have listed, I think this is a very good show. I would watch it with my 15 year old brother, but not my 13 year old one.
