if you wont let your kid watch this because of a little swearing you don't know what goes on in schools across the world every day.

Funny and Good for the whole Family!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW! IT IS HILARIOUS AND APPROPRIATE FOR EVERYONE! Everybody hates Chris is about the life of a 13 year old Chris Rock.

I personally like the concept!
As someone who attended middle school during de-segragation in the early 70's, I think there's lots to learn from here. And I applaud Chris Rock for bringing an original show to the airwaves. However, after reading several reviews that touted this show as "family entertainment," I sat down to watch with my 7/8 yr. old. I was not impressed with the rough language. Several times within the narration Chris used the words "ass" as in "got my assed kicked on a daily basis;" "bitch" and of course the N word was used early on. From this standpoint only...I cannot allow my daughter to watch, though were she a little older I would want to review the themes and situations with her.

I LOVE IT
Its so funny but the RACIST Teacher makes me mad she once said "You know where they come from they wake up early to work on the fields

Good Show
I love this show. The only reason why you may not want little kids to watch it is that there is a lot of racism. Considering that Chris is a black kid going to an all-white school, this should be expected. There are occassional swear-words in it, but nothing major and nothing that a 7 year old wouldn't have heard before.
