this programme is the best. i have got season 5 and i think that it is so funny. joey is the best and chandler and pheobe are second. joey is stupid and funny and chandler is sarcastic!!!
My Mom always wants to watch this during dinner, and for once I can agree with her! =D
It's kind of funny how my Mother considered this a family show in our house when it is meant to be an teen and up show (I have a younger brother). However, it's probably one of my more favorite shows now! It's truly hilarious and the characters are all very likable! I'd recommend this to just about anyone older than 12! However, not everyone might get some of the jokes, especially younger viewers,
This has been one of my favorite shows for some time. My parents showed me it when I was like nine, and if it got really inappropriate, we would simply fast forward. This is one of the only shows that actually makes you laugh out loud. S9o funny.
FRIENDS is a great show. While I do understand that there are sometimes things that parents might feel are inappropriate, the reality is that everyone in 7th grade, or about 12 years and older, have heard, seen, or even said at some point. These 6 core characters show how to maintain wonderful friendships based on honesty, love and trust. Values such as love, friendship, responsibility, trust, hard work, and the importance of laughter are shown. One interesting point is that when Ross and Rachel have had a child out of wedlock together, the point is clearly made that condoms are not 100% effective, and a lot of people in my grade didn't know that. I'd definitly watch this show- I watch it over and over and over again, and have most of the seasons on DVD. It's great when you just want to relax and have a laugh.
This Show is the best i dont get my day going unless i watch friends. I laugh at all the jokes they r all great. I'd say it is good for most ages but i have to say i am 17 and i just started watching when i was 16 my mom used to watch all the time and i didnt get why it was funny when i was younger some of the jokes r funnier when u r older but other than that its funny!!!!!!!! And they have some of the most memorable quotes Like the clasic WE WERE ON A BREAK!!!!!!!!. or See he's her lobster. I Love it.
I like the show a looooooot! Is good for kids who are 12 and up because of the sexual jokes. Other than that, funny show with good messages about loyalty and friendship!
I remember my sister always watching this show when she was twelve and up. I started watching it when I turned 9 or 10, I believe. It is a hilarious show. I personally own five seasons on dvd of it. It's great.
One show that actually makes me laugh out loud. Also, the characters are so normal and can be easily identified with and related to. I've been watching random episodes from different seasons since I was five or six. It's a really great show.
Honestly, this is a great show. It's funny and heartwarming in every way. It has great scenarios, actors and is rarely ever boring. Sometimes there is some scenes that could be deemed a little risky but it's a 90's show and way less bad than anything on these channels today.
It all depends on how mature your child is. I mean I've been watching this show since I was around 6-8 years old. And like somebody else said-It's all pretty mild... It's not like a naked person is going to pop up any given second.
Both me and my mom LOVE this show. I only started watching it like 2 months ago but usually tune in at four pm to watch it on TBS. My friend, me, and her little bro were only watching this, cuz we were waiting for 'Raymond to go on, but we loved it. my friend and I laughed at most of the jokes, some of them her bro didn't get and we had to explain that it was ok, cuz the joke might have been inappropriate. also some language that we had to make sure her brother didn't repeat. it says things like "da*n" and "b**ch", but besides the b word, mild swears.
Friends is an intoxicating mix of laughter and tears that has held most viewer's attention for the past ten years. The brilliant direction, writing and tight-knit cast has created a show that stayed fresh week after week. On the subject of sexuality, situations and innuendo are everywhere. As a teenager, this is nothing I couldn't handle in the fourth grade. The jokes that are a little subtler fly over the heads of those not ready to hear it. There are several episodes when characters are intoxicated, and it doesn't make for a very wholesome show and characters sometimes make mistakes. When you really think about it, the mistakes that are made actually discourage drinking. Overall, I think this show is definately appropriate for kids my age and even a bit younger. The issues are things that can be discussed and thought about. My twelve year-old sister and I watch this show every night because of the great dynamics between the cast. We adore the characters because of their great relationships and their lasting friendship.
It has some iffy parts but in the end kids are exposed to much worse at school and being able to talk about it in a safe environment is great. Explain to your child that some of the behavior shown on the show is not OK.
