What parents need to know

Parents need to know that this series is basically a showcase for plugging Disney characters, Disney movies, Disney theme parks, and Disney everything. Although it's occasionally clever, the show's real purpose -- promoting all things Disney -– is totally transparent.

What to talk about

Talk to your kids
Families can talk about alternatives to Disney vacations, movies, and programming. Can your kids think of any? Who are your kids' favorite Disney characters and why? Do they prefer the classic characters or the more recent creations?

What's the story?

What's the story?
HOUSE OF MOUSE is "the tooniest place on Earth," where every character from every Disney product ever made hangs out to watch ... Disney cartoons. A vague storyline connects the segments surrounding the cartoons, but the plots become simply more opportunities for Disney promotions. In a story about Donald and Daisy Duck going on a somewhat out-of-control date, for example, they're plunging down a waterfall when they suddenly see Goofy holding a sign that reads "Photos $10." Sound familiar?

Is it any good?

Is it any good?

Fans of Mickey and Donald will probably enjoy the attempts at in-jokes and self-referential humor, but overall the show falls flat. The last half of one episode was an extended -- very extended -- flatulence joke, featuring Pumba from The Lion King. Sometimes less truly is more.

Why does Common sense hate this? It's more Magical than you think.
This is one off my all time favorite shows. I am actually a fan of this show. It really stinks how it's not on anymore. Really miss it. On for all ages cause I want to show you guys how much I love this show. Probably one of the best yet on Disney/TV. Common sense hates this? COME ON COMMON SENSE! It's a disney show. Anything Disney is susposed to be the bomb. Adults should love it too. I mean You can always count on Disney. It's really cute. One cartoon of disney is good but one cartoon with the most amazing cartoon characters of Disney? MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!! THIS SHOW RULES!!!! Come on Guys, It's not bad at all. I love the jokes they make, Really funny and amazing show, good for anybody. I rated it on for kids 2 and up but I with it could be ages 0 and up or 1 and up to really explain that it's for all ages. I hope it will come back on soon or they will make another awesome disney show like this. Better than the other disney movies I believe. I will never forget how great this show is. Need pictures to print out so I can put it on a frame and keep it forever. So just sit down, relax, great show for the whole family, enjoy it if you love disney. Or shall I say if you love Disney, You'll love this. If Walt Disney was still alive, he'd be really proud how all his most magical characters are on a really popular TV show. Wish it was back on the air.

HOUSE OF MOUSE: THE BEST SHOW FOR GOOD CARTOONS
OK. This show is for the younger audience that loves disney in all. I watched this for years until they cancelled it. And don't laugh but I still watch it today on youtube. The only precaution I have is the mouse Mortimer who tries to get revenge on Mickey. To all parents with childeren under the age of 9: go to youtube and look up house of mouse. Show it to your kids and they will be addicted to the start. Also, you can show them real cartoons and not the trashy ones they show today. Comment your results!!!

I need the adress for the house of mouse!
I miss this show! It was cute and intertaning, but it was only on for a short time. :(

It was AWESOME!
I liked the show very much, I thought it was neat to have Disney cartoon stars in the audience too! It was cute and interesting, of COURSE they got rid of it though.. I'd much rather watch that than tween sitcoms all day and night!

House of AWESOMENESS!!!!!
This show rocks! I love the house of mouse. My 11 year old sister and I were watching a few episodes of this on youtube and it actually wasn't that bad at all. I cannot believe how amazing this show is, Why was it canceled? If you love Disney, You'll love this. I am a disney fan I would say. It had really good movies. Combining em all together into a show all about The most amazing house Of Mickey Mouse Awesomeness. What could possibly go wrong? It's the best show ever. I am very proud of whoever made this or did something for this Like Bill Farmer, Rod Roddy, or Wayne Allwine. Needs to be back on the air. I remember loving this as a kid. New episodes every friday or saturday night when this show was on with new episodes 2001-2003. Now we have loads of junky/crappy sows in the air that are a total waste of time. If you wanna hate something else hate Stupid Fanboy and Chum Chum.

God,CSM,you're totally missing the point.
I miss this show so much! What's really enjoyable is that when Disney characters come in the,"House of Mouse",to watch some old Mickey Mouse episodes. And one time the villains went inside and made trouble.LOL!This show is totally worth watching. But,it's nowhere to be found on Disney.:( BRING IT BACK,DISNEY!

Great fun
Wow who ever made this review must be bitter about Disney. Disney is a franchise that will never go away, it's main show is about Mickey and his friends, why not create something like this to show all these Disney cartoons we all love? The house of mouse is a fun type of theater show where Mickey is the host and many fun Disney characters come and watch the cartoons. You'll get oodles of laughs from not only the cartoons but the various characters who attend, as well as Donald, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy and Pluto. Cause who can go wrong with Mickey Mouse? It's perfect for ANY age, young or small watching old Disney cartoons and all Disney's characters is always fine for any age.

Family-Friendly show one big advertisement full of fun and Disney.
House of Mouse is a night club filled with Mickey and the wonderful world of disney, making it best for Disney fans and kids. This show is just pure awesomeness, it's great and there's nothing wrong with it.The launguage, rarely. In just one episode, Goofy says ''Darn'' 3 times, but it's for wakeboarding and for funny tricks. As you can see, a lot of Disney characters are visible, espically Mickey himself. The truth is, it's a great show, there's nothing wrong with it, it's fun for family, and it's hard to tell why it was cancelled. They have DVDS and VHS's of this show and it's just fun.

Very creative way to show Disney
I loved watching it when I was little, and having all of the Disney characters as an audience and Mickey as the announcer was very clever. It shows older Disney clips which are very funny and it's very intertaning. They should put this on Disney channel directly.

Meh
I remembered liking it, but when I watched it again I didn't really like it. It's not that funny. But it's age-appropriate, but there is consumerism; CSM is probably right when they said that it was a giant ad for Disney.

Great show.
I loved this show I would keep watching it everyday until they took it off :[ @ Tommymypezmaster So what if smart people don't like it, there's going to be always a person who won't like it or love it. Besides what if the "smart people" don't like it. If they were smart then they would think it's only a show for entertainment not educational.

Cool
This show is just whole bunch of clever clips.

An Insault to Mickey Mouse & Other Disney Classics
Whoever thought up House of Mouse needs to be hunted down and be sent to court. It is suppose to be educational, but it is very insultive and dull. The "heroes" (but mainly Goofy) get stupid and weak. The villains are worst. The plot is clichéd, the art is too much, and there is nothing redeeming about it. This is like most educational shows: preachy, lacklustered, and annoying. Even though it is meant for a young audience, not many smart people will enjoy this slapped together piece of crud. I am glad it is no longer on the air. It is one of the worst series ever made peroid.

Pretty good.
I don't watch this show anymore, but there is NOTHING wrong with this show. I would let ANYONE watch this, from 1 to 100! The only reason I rated it 4 stars is that I have outgrown it and don't watch it anymore.
