Parents need to know that this audience-driven reality competition airs live four nights a week over the course of a single month. (So if there are things you find questionable in terms of content, prepare for an onslaught.) You'll also hear a little potty talk and some bleeped cursing and see heated arguments that occasionally get physical between celebrity contestants. Stars' motives range from true (thank you, Lou Diamond Phillips) ... to blatantly fame-seeking (we're looking at you, Spencer Pratt).
Positive messages:Some celebrities are in it to win it, scoring money for charities they're truly passionate about. Others are clearly in the jungle to promote their own questionable careers.
Violence:Heated verbal arguments between contestants get physical (think hand-slapping and pushing) on rare occasions.
Sex:Some sexual innuendo, as well as talk between newlyweds about the challenges of not having sex.
Language:Some bleeped cursing, along with audible words like "ass," "hell," "shut up" and "poo-poo."
Consumerism:At least two of these celebs are blatantly trying to enhance their own fame -- and future earning potential. Others might be guilty of the same crime, but they're far more subtle about it.
I watched it! I'm ten and I LOVED it! It's a fun show to watch, especially the stupid celebrities that are spoiled. People are probably wondering "What's the POSITIVE MESSAGE?" And it is that celebrities can live in the jungle... =\
This is a great show don't let the brats from the hills convince you otherwise. But it's a good show that I hadn't realized was still on air! Watch it and laugh at the celebs...
