About Kenny the Shark
Parents need to know that a young girl gets a huge shark as a pet and -- surprise, surprise -- mayhem ensues! The premise is so absurd that it's more weird than amusing. The shark is bumbling and insecure and constantly getting into trouble. The storyline, even for a cartoon, seems tired and overdone.

- Families can talk about how to deal with bullies and building up kids' self-confidence. What intrigues kids about this cartoon, compared to other, similar programs? Are the ridiculous situations over the top, even for an animated series?

Educates kids 6 and up, and fun for kids.
It's not the best thing for young children because there humor does not relate to TV-Y. But it's still fun and educational. 6 year olds are not really older children yet. But there is nothing wrong with 6 year olds watching this. This show is also TV-Y7 because they teach it in a type of way that's not the best for young children including mayhem and stuff. But still GREAT AND FUNNY SHOW.
