Disturbing on so many levels
Ok so I am 25 years old, don't have any kids of my own but I could say straight out my kid would not be part of this. These girls are 4 to 10 years old.. do you know what chemical tan spraying, hair sprays and especially make up does to ppl's skin? Why would you want to start damaging your child's flawless natural beauty with all that crap making them look much older than they really are? All that doesn't make them look pretty, it is just disturbing. Parents have a huge influence on their kids and when they cheer for their daughters looking like sluts, performing adult moves and dances on the stage makes me concerned. All I can say is that if those girls will keep doing what they are doing.. nothing good will come out of it and by the time they are 20 they won't look as good as they should.

Its an O.K. show.
Nothing personal about it but the only things that bothers me are the kids' make-up, dresses, hair styles and the way Micheal sings that creepy song. Its an O.K. show but it has bratty kids about the pageants in like every episode.

Sad commentary on the world of pageants
This show is a sad commentary on parents (not always the choice of the little girls) who are willing to do almost anything to have their child win. The saddest part is to see the tears on the little girls' painted faces because they somehow didn't appear pretty or poised (or fake) enough to win. Sorry, but I don't see even any entertainment value in this show - only emotional abuse of fragile little children.

great opportunity for mother daughter talks
I wouldn't say there are role models on this show, but I certainly wouldn't say it's a bad show. I like that there are so many different 'types' of families/girls/parents included. I watched many episodes and I certainly dislike the ones where parents and/or the girls have poor attitudes, but I have also seen many with girls who love the 'dress up' and 'stage performance' involved and the parents who are there supporting NOT pushing their daughter...I DO believe this is a great opportunity for mothers and daughters to talk about attitudes, sportsmanship, body image, etc.

Exploitive and not fit for anyone to view.
It exploits children - going to be JonBenet Ramsey all over if it keeps up.

Hilarious but sad scene
I am a psychologist. I watch this show purely to analyse the situation. The idea that a mother would dress her child up in things that you rarely even see adult women wear(ie. like a mini prostitute) is appalling. It's basically peadophile heaven, not to mention what it teaches their children to value. Some of these people do not even have a cent to their name, yet they are spending thousands on dresses and flippers. hello......how about hoping for a better future for your children, save for a college fund. I have also noticed that most of these parents are often insecure, personality disorders, living through their children. Hilarious to watch though

Some positive, some negative content
Shows the truth a lot of pageant mothers don't want to admit - to some moms, the pageant is way more important to them than the child.

I think these kids should not be pressured to be in pageants at this young age other than that its great.

ILOVED IT

Its all in the name. Little Miss Perfect, as judged by strangers based on a little girls fake hair, nails, makeup, tan and sometimes even fake teeth. As a "glitz" pagent, girls that do not have the false accessories will not win or be crowned Little Miss Perfect. What mesage does this send, that in order to be perfect you have to be fake. These children are all perfect exactly as they are and their parents would do well to remind them of that instead of instilling a false ideal.

I like this show!!!!
This show is really good itshows how little kids like this pagent and how the kids and parents really like it i think that it helps people relize that the parents of the children are not crazy!!!

Horrendous
The stage parents & all of the organizers need therapy imho. To watch a mother having her young daughter (10 or under?) getting her pictures taken & comments to smooth her lines out & make her lips look bigger--etc etc. I think it gives young girls even more negative messages about meeting unreasonable standards of perfection.

My 3 girls love the show.
I watched with my 3 pageant daughters, and we think it shows how pageants really are and how parents really are. I think it is well done, better then any other pageant shows that have been shot in the past.It shows how different people chose to do pageants at different levels of income, and different types of kids. We think it is positive for girls. Mine do it to learn to present themselves as they are.Natural smart and confident, talented young women. Light tanning, makeup .We love tanning though and beautiful clothes. We do our own pics, and are the ones to be featured on episode 5 of Little Miss perfect.Wetv did a wonderful job to be the neutral...so Judge for yourself! My girls have worn makeup for dance recitals and cheerleading , and ice skating too.It is part of the hobby.I have seen crazier parents and dads at football games then at pageants. Like in anything you do...their will always be bad apples.
