Good for everyone
Great family show. It is appropriate for children against popular rating. It may get a little bit too violent at points but everything else is fine. Just no toddlers, 6 and up should be fine.

Anyone who is mature can watch.
OK I'm not interested in it like my sister. For sex, people do have sex. And "Shannon" was in a bikini laying on a towel, and she removed her bikini top. The girls dress inappropriately sometimes too. Language, b-tch, d-mn, h-ll, d-mmit. Violence, blood, people die, but its not like real violence people! People fight a lot for negative messages. And "Charlie" was influenced badly by his brother to take drugs.

One of my favorite shows. I say It's fine for anyone above 10 or so with family and 12 and up should be fine watching alone. Just not the 6th season because it was terrible ;)

Best TV Show Ever?
Never before has a show developed characters like Lost. Never has a show with such intriguing mythology come to television. Never before have we cared about the lives of characters like we do in Lost. The majority of Lost fans cried at the end of season 3 when our favorite drug addict bit the dust. The ending was, of course, very controversial. It provided incredible closure to the series and characters, but left many big questions unanswered. To me, the ending was everything it was supposed to be. It did not answer every question, but I would take closure over questions any day. Best Show Ever? In my opinion, yes.

Perfect for 9 and up
This show is my favorite show. There will never be another show so amazing as Lost. There is a lot of violence(well, more gore than really violence), and the role models aren't exactly the people you would want your kids to become. But the show is extremely good, the plot pulls you in deeper and deeper every episode. If your kid is under 9, you might want to have them out of the room while you watch it, because there is scary things in it. But if your kid is over that or is mature enough to watch it, go ahead.

Awesome

great series to watch as a family
We watched the dvd series as a family, and any questionable content turned out to be a great gateway for family discussions. Of course, island mystery theories were the biggest topic. While I would not have wanted my 10 year olds watching it on their own, it was fine in a family setting.

Excellent. Spectacular. Stunning. Incredible. Amazing. The best TV show of all time. No show compares to Lost. I was so attached to this show Id watch multiple episodes a day. it truly is fantastic. You will fall in love with the characters to a degree you would think impossible. I cried a few times at death scenes. You MUST see this show. I have seen every episode, and I want to watch it again! Not a single episode was boring or disappointing. Very confusing plot near the 4th 5th and especially 6th season, but it all gets explained, so hold in there in times of confusion. It'll pay off! Anyway, amazing show, some iffy stuff with sex and language. Many implied sex scenes and mild sexual humor. Language is fairly often, but mild- d*mn, hell, a*s. Son of a b**ch is as salty as it gets. Violence is graphic, but not to often, and not unreasonable. Fist fights, occasional shooting, very rare stabbings. Intense drama TV show will get you hooked. Must see.

Love LOST! Just beware... it may be too much for ages under 13.
LOst is one of the best series I've ever watched! I hate that it will be ending. With that said- it can be very violent and sometimes a little too on the edge with the sex scenes. So use "common sense" if you have young ones- this show can be intense and probably over their heads anyway. Ages 13 and up will enjoy- sometimes you just may have to screen an episode if you are concerned with the sexual/violent content. The acting is top notched as well as the music, and storyline. COOOOOL show- if you're not LOST- I recommend buying all the previous seasons- and get ready for the finale- season 5 is coming up! No doubt- it will be excellent!

~Dude, Awsome~Hurly
In my opinion it is one of the greatest shows ever! It indeed deserves it's golden globe award for best drama. I started watching Lost on Netflix and I can see how it would drive people nuts, leaving you hanging, I wouldn't be able to stand it on regular T.V, but lucky for me I have Netflix; anyways... the show itself has the perfect balance of suspension, action, and just the right amount of laughter. The greatest thing about lost is the fact that you don't know what's going to happen next especially in the later seasons, it's what makes Lost Lost that it just gets crazyer and crazyer!

i rate this title IFFY for ages 11+
The good stuff * Messages: Adjusting to life on the island brings to mind "survival of the fittest." As the series progresses, there is unity among survivors -- they work together for food, shelter, support, through language barriers and in attempts to get off the island. Later seasons introduce much more manipulation by other characters with very complex agendas. One character is an unwed mother. What to watch out for * Violence: Many wounded/dead. Main character found hanging from tree; man sucked into a plane engine; injuries include bloody guts and gashes. Some bloody dead bodies, as well as shooting, kidnapping, arson, and murder. Some medical imagery. Sex: Kissing and some sexual activity implied; actual liaisons are rare, and when they happen, nothing sensitive is shown. * Language: An occasional "h--l," "a-s," or "d--n." * Consumerism: Not an issue. * Drinking, drugs, & smoking: Drinking; one character battles a heroin addiction.

LOST is probaly the greatest show ever that YOU HAVE TO SEE
LOST is probably the GREATEST show ever. It is funny, tear driving, dramatic, mysterious, mind-bending, and dark. I have seen the whole series at least 15 times. I would say that it is GREAT FOR TEENS AND MATURE TWEENS. LOTS of good role models, but some not so good role models. I say the only thing to worry about with kids is the violence and darkness of the show. there is a lot of violence that would scare younger kids: Some bloody dead bodies, as well as shooting/stabbing people, kidnapping, murder, some people explode and many people die. Language isn't to bad. one character battles a heroin addiction. a few sex scenes but nothing is shown. LOST IS A GREAT SHOW THAT YOU HAVE TO SEE AND GREAT FOR TEENS AND MATURE TWEENS!!!!!!!!!!!!

ABC is lost without Lost
Lost tells an enthralling story of survival and the relationships formed because of it. Great for ages 14 and up, Lost offers a good balance of explosions-and-supernatural violence that many television shows do not have these days. It's heavy on messages about light and dark (supported by the numerous appearances of black and white), good and evil, and especially science versus faith. Be careful, though, because this series can be a little exhausting due to the fact that it raises more questions than it answers, but sticking with it to the end will pay off.

Best TV Show!!!
I love LOST, it's funny at times, tear driving, dramatic, fun violence, and intriguing confuse. But I never missed an episode and never got really confused. I could figure things out quickly. SPOILER ALERT: I cried so hard when Sayid, Jin, Sun, Charlie, Jack, etc. died. I cried most in the END. It has some sex, showing bare back, girls in a Bra and underwear, legs, arms, bare shoulders. Kate and Sawyer do it and she flips her tongue. It is pretty gore-filled. They use b---h, da--, he--, a--, b-----d. Sawyer drinks stale beer. Many times people are caught smoking.

Bad for ages 7and under (I started watching it when I was 8)
People say a** and d*** and h***. There is some sex included, like when already married Sun had sex with another man, but nothing is shown, her father then comes bursting in, then he throws the man out the window, but if you listen you may feel sorry for him, Sun wanted to make him feel better. There is MUCH MORE SEX INCLUDED though.
