What's the Story?

MAKE MY DAY offers unsuspecting -- but very deserving -- people the best day of their life. In each episode, hidden cameras follow the "victim" as he or she cluelessly navigates a series of wonderful events that has been carefully pre-planned. From receiving exclusive concert tickets for helping a stranded stranger to meeting their favorite athletes, actors, and musicians, each moment of the day is packed with great surprises. At the end of it all, the truth is revealed.

Is It Any Good?

This feel-good show is a positive alternative for reality or hidden-camera show fans. The people selected to receive the fantasy days come across as likable and deserving of their reward, and it's fun to watch them get excited about all of the great things that are happening to them.

Although there's some bleeped profanity (mostly uttered by surprised but happy participants), overall this is the kind of reality show that's really worth watching.

Talk to Your Kids About ...

  • Families can talk about what your own special fantasy day might consist of. Is there anyone you'd really want to meet or anything specific you'd want to do or see?

  • Do you know anyone who deserves to have their own day made? What could you do to make that happen, with or without celebrity participation?
