I watch this show after school when I eat my snack sometimes, usually for about ten or twenty minutes until a better show comes on. I'm 13, this show is probably suitable for the 5 to 9 bracket(sp?). I think it's really stupid but it's a charming show that many younger kids would enjoy. The two main characters are twins, and, I find great entertainment in the fact that Miguel (spanish for Michael) shares a name with my own twin (Michael). Too bad I'm not named Maya! :D In their attempt to make the show racially diverse the makers seem to have moved a bit backwards. They have, like, one white, one black, and one chinese character and all the rest are latino. And they speak SO MUCH SPANISH! Do you want your kids to learn Spanish? If you do, then this is pretty good, but you can't understand a lot of what they say. It's annoying. But parents can eagerly allow their children to watch this nice little show after school with no worries.
This show is really fun and the lessons in them are brought out in a cool or funny way unlike those other shows like barnye or dragon tales when it's all kiddy. All of the charecters are different which makes this a great show. It's also funny.
The show embraces diversity, helps children learn how to solve real life "problems", has no violence, and the characters usually talk to each other respectfully. A big plus in my book!
My 5-year-old enjoys it and I have no problems letting her watch it. I like that it has people of different ethnicities & those who have different body types.
Why did you rate this 6+. Cybercase shouldn't be rated 6+ either. But cybrchase should be rated 6+ more that Maya &Miguel. I mean come on! Phineas and Ferb is rated 5+, and do you think Maya & Miguel should be 6+ if Phineas and Ferb is 5+.
hate it hate it hate it! ! ! ! !
Maya-a psycho girl with some real mental issues. The characters are drawn wierd.
Miguel-I praise him for resenting Maya's ideas, though he ends up agreeing with her.
But in the end, HATEIT HATEIT HATEIT!!!!!!!!!!
