Amazing...Believe It!
Ok, I am a huge Naruto fan, so I'm going to clear this up. Naruto: Shippuden on Disney XD is ok for kids about 10+. They cut out the blood (if I'm correct) and censor the language. Personally, I like the original subtitles, which I would give 14+ because of violence and strong language, I don't like watching the butchered version on Disney, but the dvds are uncut. This show has great characters, and messages (never give up, friendship ect.) Naruto does NOT always rely on violence, and he won't let his friends get hurt or become corrupted by the darkness. (It's his ninja way yeah!) If I go any further, I'd being giving spoilers! ;) (by the way, no offence, but these little kids on here reviewing have no idea what they are talking about. Just sayin'... )

Naruto is sickeo
I just hate it, I really do. . . . I'm sorry that's how I feel, I've seen Naruto discized as a naked lady, a few sexual acts, the voices are annoying ( no offence ) and death and violence ALL the time. I'm too hateful I guess, but I just can't say anything good about the show. I use to watch it all the time, but. . . its to dark.

Naruto shippuden review for parents.
***SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT*** Naruto shippuden is a tv show that succeeds the hugely popular anime, Naruto. It is about a orange-clad, fun-loving ninja who is a jinchuuriki (container) of the nine tailed demon fox, and for this, many ostracize and fear him. His quest is to become hokage, the ruler of his villiage, so that people will respect and see him for who he is, not what he contains. Shippuden is set several years after the original series, and so many of the characters have matured, as well as many new developments in the series. Shippuden has a darker, more serious plot as the series progresses. If you are watching the english subbed episodes, which I personally would rate 13+, you should be aware that shippuden has more swearing than before, with occasional uses of b*stard and d*mn as well as blood. If your child is watching the dubbed episodes on disney channel, most swearing, violence and blood has been edited out, so if your child is young, the dubbed episodes on disney are suggested. There is also a lot of killing and death, although not gory or too violent. There are a lot of fights and moderate violence to be aware of. The show has beautifully developed characters, and has good morals. Friendship, teamwork, and love play a great part in the series development. Naruto won't let his friends get hurt, and refuses to give up on his old friend, Sasuke, after he defected from konoha. Naruto also never gives up on anything, but persues it to the end. There are some references to smoking and drinking, as one ninja is often seen smoking and sake is mentioned once in a while. In my opinion, Naruto is an amazing series, some parts leaving you laugh, cry, or feel so many different emotions. You can really relate to some of the characters, and sympathise with them. I would rate the subbed episodes 13+, but Naruto Shippuden is a great show that deserves the hype is has recieved. I would reccomend watching the first series beforehand as it wil help you get a full understanding of the plot and characters. I hope you enjoy watching Naruto far more than you have enjoyed reading my first anime review. -Amanda

A Must See For 12+ (Not for 12- Definitely)
First of all, you should know that this show is one of the most compelling, epic piece of anime you or your child will ever get to see. Story itself is very complex and interesting, characters are very deep and interesting. The "problem" of the show is that there is too much hard language and blood, way too many death and psychological dialogue for a little child to handle. In this anime you'll see a FULLY COMPLETED REVENGE with no regrets, shown to the very last moment, also how one brother kills another, one of the most beloved characters die dramatically etc. The main issue for the series is that one of the MAIN characters (Sasuke) turns into a villain, and with the show development he goes deeper and deeper into darkness, not wishing to go back to normal life, trying to destroy his home. The positive side of the show is that it's characters are irresistable! they really would go for a good role model, they have courage, they're trying to find their place in this world and become N1 no matter how hard that is. the main premise of character Naruto is not to ever give up! and there's some serious talking about that. Though you should know that it's by far is not a fairy tail. The main character is hardly discriminated by everyone in the begining and his way up to respect is actually not an easy one. It's not a spider-man where you get super-strong overnight. It's naruto where every single thing you achieve, is achieved with hard work. All in all, I really don't think kids under 12 or 13 can understand the meaning of this show, still you can sit with your children and watch it with them, Be sure, you'll find a lot of interesting too. Well, now I've heard that Disney just censored a lot of things with this show to make it 8+ but believe me, if your child is 12-13 years old and you want to show him something truly entertaining you should really give him/her to watch uncensored version, which is way more than just spending 20 Minutes of your life on nothing. P.S: Show Has a great educational value, Masashi Kishimoto created the world of naruto, by mixing with his own ideas the legends and myths, showing us almost perfectly the culture and a lot of traditions (especially with samurai) there are details to educate you can't even notice, For example three legendary sanin are almost copied from well-known Japanase literature "the tales of jiraya gallant" and fight between orochimaru and itachi is almost exact reproduction of the legendary myth. Most of Uchiha techniques are related to ancient gods and powers. All in all there are great references to culture and history, so you can see this show as an educative one as well **SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH, I'M FOREIGNER***

Great For Teens
Naruto Shippuden is my favorite show of all time. But, online it is pretty violent and bloody. it was TV-14 for strong violence in some episodes, gore, language, and horror effects.

Hey Hey Hey. No um Naruto Shippuden cuses IF you are watching it on the uncut dvd's OR the Japenese subtitels. If you are watching it on Disney XD that's fine they don't say anything bad on there (its Disney of course). Same goes for the blood. There is alot of blood and weapons in the uncut episodes but on Disney you see them you hear them but then some 'how a person got stabbed without any sighn of the weapon even being there in the first place. Now I am thirteen and have watched this show well at least regular Naruto since I was nine but my sister was four at the time so she found it to be boring. But now I am thirteen , watching Shippuden uncut, and have a little sister who is watching it at eight and loving it. Any way really this show is fine. But if you don't like your children seeing perverted things then you don't really have a problem Disney cuts out all of Naruto's sexy jutsu's but in the uncut version Konoharmu does do it ONE TIME but that really is the only recorded time he did it in Shippuden SO FAR. There is an event in Later Shippuden with Kono but I wouldn't worry to much. Naruto was a weak ninja with no respect in the village and in the Pein arc a Hero. Gaara was a village monster super weapon (literally) but he ended up being the Kazekage (leader of his village) and loved by every one. Naruto has honestly good role models and some comedy mixed in with it :)

Good for tweens if they watch the Disney XD version
I honestly love this anime! Why I put the violence, smoking, and language thing is because. Violence: later in the series my favorite character Hidan Stabs himself and inflicts pain on the other person and is immortal. Language: Hidan repeatadly says **it *uck and *ick. Smoking: A teacher smokes and than he stops the day before he dies. And his girlfriend/wife is pregnant. But they should edit this out on disney XD. And like the reviewer said 'DOWN WITH SASUKE" Woot

awesome
I'm obsessed. But it shouldn't be on a kids channel like disney. It is not for kids. They should have put it on adult swim.

Awsome I love naruto.

XD verison safe for 7 and up, original good for 12 and up.
I've enjoyed the Naruto series since I first read the manga back in my teens, but seriously, the Disney XD version in my eyes is harmless. Well They do a lot I don't like, but that's all the stuff they believe is not for kids (like blood and stuff). But it's perfect for your kids. They also take out the word "kill" changing sentences from "I'll kill you" to "I'll defeat you" and such. It's good for kids 7 or older, but when it comes to the original, unedited version, 12 and older will do. I don't know why Viz Media rated it T+ For Older Teens(16+), I believe they were going a little over the top, because there is nothing in Shippuden that's REALLY violent. If you want a 16+ anime look at Hellsing or Berserk. They make Shippuden look like a PBS Kids show compared to them. That rating was way off mark. I watch it with my nephew who I treat as my own son, and he LOVES it. All the time, people ask what's his favorite show and he always says, "Naruto Shippuden! I love Naruto Shippuden!" And our favorite character is, of course, the lovable strong ninja goofball, Naruto himself.

Best show ever!
Or one of the best. This show is awesome but I wish they'd put it back on Cartoon Network. It's hard to watch it on Disney XD because it's a premium channel (I don't have a cable box in my room) and it comes on straight when I have to go to bed (8:00 western time). I catch it occasionally, but mainly watch it online.

Naruto is the BEST.
Ok, first off, we are talking about the Disney XD version. Disney will not let anything worse than power rangers slide! Naruto is one of the only ninja animes I would recommend to my little sister and brother, and I am very protective over what they watch. Over all it is very intense and inspiring (note when I say intense I mean emotional) and the only reason why I say 10 and up is because younger kids might not understand the feelings the main protanganist are going through. They face emotional and physical barriars in the series and it shows how they deal with it in a positive way. The only characters you need to watch out for is Orochimaru and Sasuke. Sasuke is focused fully on revenge and hasn't, to this day, shown any signs of changing. Orochimaru might scare kids more than other characters because of his demon-snake like look. The only other things I can say watch out for is the sexy-no-jutsu or cutie-no-jutsu is what they call it on disney. It is slightly sexual but thats it. Naruto is one of my absolute favorite animes and a great story that you can really get into.

I don't like Naruto.But I love it's sequel.
I'm always hooked on Naruto. The characters there became much more responsible, brave, and strong.Naruto never gives up on his before teammate.Who likely wants to destroy the place where he used to study and train when he and the others were younger.Sakura too has changed. And now I know the truth of Itachi. And I almost cried when he died.Even though he killed his own clan he never wanted to kill Sasuke(Younger brother)because he loves him so.

Perfect for tweens (pre-teens)
I actually love the show Naruto. In the japanese episodes with the english dub their are some bad words but if you can handle it and be mature than your fine.In the english Naruto in a DVD box set and/or other DVD's,they have some slight cursing but its not REALLY bad.The Naruto series on Disney XD censor most of the bad scenes and show less blood and bad language.I mostly watch mine by buying the box sets, reading the books,or watching it on the internet. The good highlights is that Naruto, the main character, helps his friends and has a dream,so younger kids will have an idol to believe in.
