Parents need to know that this preschool-targeted series is filled with positive messages about teamwork, friendship, and appreciation for people’s unique talents. The characters learn that their powers are more effective when they join forces, reminding kids that people’s individual skills are to be celebrated and are made to complement each other. The villainous characters’ antics are little more than pranks; they wield non-threatening "weapons" like strong puffs of air that blow the borys aside. In other words, there’s no reason to worry about sharing this feel-good show with preschoolers.
Educational value:The characters use their senses (including common sense) to explore the world and solve the problems they encounter.
Positive messages:The series is full of positive messages for preschoolers about friendship, self-confidence, creative thinking, and respect for others. Although each bory has a unique super power, it’s only when they combine their efforts that they're able to accomplish their goals.
Positive role models:The borys demonstrate teamwork and respect each others’ talents. They ask for help when it’s needed and always show their appreciation for their friends’ efforts. The seven borys include both boys and girls.
Violence & scariness:Villains use non-threatening "weapons" like a magic umbrella that sends puffs of air to force the borys away. Some very mild peril (a car briefly goes out of control, for instance).
