This is one of the most original shows I've ever seen. I own both seasons and wish it haddn't been cancelled. There are some seens that might be too gruesome for young viewers, but overall not a bad show. The writing is excellent, the dialogue great, the acting spot on, and it even has a humorous narrator. What else could you ask for?

Adults only
The show was very interesting. My husband loved it. But, there was a scene on one of the 1st couple of shows that to me was not family friendly. I don't want my kids to view shows that promote sex outside of marriage. There was no nudity but the message is still there...

One of the best shows out there!
I LOVE Pushing Daisies!! The sets and props and costumes are so imaginative and colorful. The story lines are so funny and incorporate some of the most creative and smart tv I've seen in a long time. Ned is endearing. Some of the culture references may go over the heads of younger viewers, and there is occasionally some very brief language, but otherwise this is quite a good family program, especially in comparison with everything else ABC has. The show is carried by Olive and Emerson, as well as other supporting characters. One of the best shows in a long time!!

Great new show. Worth checking out.
I was lucky enough to catch this show from the pilot and have not missed any episode yet (I've gone so far as to program it into the DVR to record the entire series). Even my husband, who isn't a big TV watcher, loves this show. Its originality, quirky humor and unique story telling technique is exceptionally refreshing. I look forward to seeing how the eccentric characters deal with the odd situations they find themselves in each week's episode. As for kids, I think that it is appropriate for early teens and up. Some of the humor may escape them, but would still be entertaining on the whole. As for parents/adults, I highly recommend this show!!!! It is a great break from the formulaic sitcom/dramas over-running TV right now.

Hillarious... then they said the "B" word
This is one of the most original network TV shows to come along in ages. The show feels like Tim Burton for network television. It is quirky, funny, smart, VERY witty! The fast paced, incredibly smart dialogue alone had me hooked in the first 15 minutes. The only downfall was the liberties they took with the language, pushing the envelope just enough for me to pause for the obligatory "what did he just say?" **rewind the DVR** " I THOUGHT that is what he just said..." "B**ch* " Now, My children are 10 and 12. And while I know they are not oblivious to the language around them (I am no saint)I do understand the "mockingbird" factor at this age. But for the time, it solicited brief confusion from me and hysterical laughter from them (ahhh to be a kid again) Oh, and the narrarator just completes the entire feeling of the show.

Loved it!
I thought the show was a refreshing new twist on TV. It was one of the most original shows I have seen in a while. My 11 year old son even got into it. I was never bored watching, and I highly recommend this show to anyone who likes a little comedy, drama, and fantasy. Enjoy!!

- My highlights are:
A Language Show for 12+
This show is quirky, humorous, and engaging. But it's hard to keep up with. The fast-paced storyline and humor was a pressing reason that the show didn't make it past two seasons. But if you're willing to buy the DVDs and watch every episode, this is a fabulous series.

yay!
I really love this show (I can't wait until next season, when it will finally be on again). It's really rare to find a show that is this original, well done, without all the sexual content, swearing, graphic violence, ect. It's quirky and fun, and my whole family (me, parents, and 12yr old sibling) watched it together.

A MUST-SEE SHOW!!!
Pushing Daisies is very funny, although sometimes it can a little too 'fantastical'. The plots are well thought out and the characters are well-developped. Overall, a great show!

very unique plot
wow this show is sickening good. i just think it really takes a creative mind to think of such of a unique plot. and though to some it may sound quite dull and repetitive. but it isn't at all the whole tone and mood of the show really is great for people who are into lemony snickets a series of unfortunate events. and the way your not sposed to take this show to seriously. and the thing that really shows that is that the pie place he works at is called the pie hole which is very funny. but anyway this show is just really fun to watch and u really care about all the charactors.i just hope it holds up for hopefully 7 seasons that would make me super happy but either way this is a really great show so watch it!

Best New Show!
Because of the Broadway fan in me, I watched this show because of Kristin Chenoweth (and because I heard Raul Esparza guest-starred on one of the episodes). I thought it'd be weird and would make me cringe but it's nothing like that at all. It's a good weird, with an original concept and great characters. I love Ned and Chuck, and Olive (Chenoweth) and Emmerson make the show hilarious. The sexual content is very mild, and the bad language doesn't come often. I reccomend this show to anyone. It's great!

Great Show Thats Full Of Creativity
If you are looking for a show this season to watch and fall in love with, Pushing Daisies is it. In the spirit of "Big Fish" and "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory," this show is unlike any show ever on television. It is filled with tons of creativity and filled with imagination. Sure the show is about death, but its really about life. This show gives a new definition of life, and also second chances. It has a great cast and interesting sub-stories. The love between Ned (Lee Pace) and Chuck (Anna Friel) is so interesting because even though they are in love, they cannot touch each other or else Chuck will go back to being dead for good, becuase Ned brought her back to life. All I can say is watch and you'll see. The show is a must see if you want to see some good quality television for a change! Make sure to have the popcorn ready and the tivo warmed up on Wednesday, October 3 at 8:00 pm on ABC! The show also stars Chi McBride and Kristin Chenoweth.
