Alright for 5 and up after final 20 are picked

Some dance moves are very sexual in nature (Latin ballroom) but it is just dance and it's amazing to see how far people can come with perseverance and dedication. My kids enjoy watching it but I don't let them watch it until after the final 20 are selected.

I love shows we can watch together

We enjoy watching how these dancers improve their talent. It is nice to be able to watch a tv show and not worry about inappropriate content. My kids love to root for their favorite dancer to win the contest.

    Great show!

My girls and I love this show (8 yo. & 11 yo.) we have watched it for years. My only concern is sometimes the outfits are pretty revealing and occasionally the dances can have a sexual tone to them. Other than that I think it is great and fun for the whole family!

    awsome

best show ever!!!!! this is one of my favorite shows. i start to like it more as it gets to the end ( top 20 or so) because at that point all the dancing is good, no one gets hurt and the judges arn't as mean. yes some of the feelmale dancers wear some reaviling outfits, but no one mentions them so it's not anything bad. all in all wath this show

    It's interesting!

This show is most of the time a family show. Someetimes the judges could be a little hasty when it comes to their choice of word but otherwise it's a family show. I love the dancing everyone should watch it.

    Ok.

I think this show is ok. As a dancer, I watch it every week, being a bit of a judge because of what I know. In my opinion, I think that you should not watch until the top 20, for many reasons. One is that one person wants to be called "sex" and belts out swear words like they are nothing. Other people tend to swear if they get rejected, and hearing them beep out the swears so often just hurts your ears. Once at the Top 20, I believe it is fine. They beep out the swear words, which they rarely use. The social behavior is not the best, as this season has a young man crushing on his partner, so he goes overboard when they get dances like the rumba, and other Latin dances in which they have to get quite close. Some inappropriate comments come from the judges, and one guest judge seems to flirt with most of the girls. It's up to the parents at what age you should start watching.

As a dancer, this show is very inspiring for me. The top 20 are incredible!! My suggestion in watching the show is TeeVo the auditions for a couple laughs (no commercials!), SKIP Las Vegas week, and watch the top 20 on up. I say skip Las Vegas week because that's where social behavior gets iffy. Many dancers get bad attitudes, swear at the camera (it's bleeped out), and yell at each other. Otherwise, the top 20 and eliminations up get incredible choreography (two numbers last year made me cry!), amazing group performances, and you get to vote for your favorite!

I watch this every time it comes on.

Okay, this show is so not bad that it's crazy. They bleeb out all the cuss words and it's just dancing. The judges sit in their seats and drink like tea or whatever, who cares, and the dancers get out there and do their thing. It's an AWESOME show.
