What's the Story?

A STAND UP MOTHER is a reality series that follows Last Comic Standing finalist Tammy Pescatelli as she balances her role as wife, mother, and stand up comedian. After relocating with husband Luca from Hollywood to Pennsylvania to raise their son, she finds herself trying to navigate small town life while trying to keep her career going. Meanwhile, the chaos created by her large Italian family gives her lots of humorous material. Excerpts from her comedy act are also featured throughout each episode.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 43 ):
Kids say ( 1 ):

The show offers an entertaining chance to see what the everyday life of a stand up comedian is like. It also shows some of the challenges stand up comics face when trying to build their careers while raising a family.

There's lots of craziness, but in between it all are strong messages about the importance of family. It also serves as a reminder that humor can help cope with any situation.
