Your review has it wrong - zilladog email is free and my son loves it!
Hi - Just got my 7 year old his first email account, but was worried about SPAM for obvious reasons. Wanted a safe place he could go, and found it with zilladog*'s zillamail -- really simple to use, he figured it out right away. It's nothing fancy, but just right for kids. No fees; the parent just agrees to receive a monthly e-mailed newsletter that has ads in it. Also, the parent has to approve all e-mail buddies for your child before they can see the e-mails, so it's very secure and very simple. Thumbs up!

Very good for kids
I love the homepage idea of Zilladog*. It has links to my kids favorite websites so they don't have to go searching the net. They also use the email service. We have never received spam or email from anyone not on the buddy list. Very good website, I recommend for all kids from ages 6 to 13.

Does not work
Doesn't work. Setup buddy list and everything and it still won't send emails to Grandma. This site is a waste of time and energy. I don't recommend it.

great kids email!
when i asked my mom if i could have an email account, she said no but then i found zilladog, and i got an account and kids can email only people on their contact list and it blocks spam and viruses. i love it!

Safe email for kids- LOVE it!! :)
I love the fact that my kids can have an email account and I choose who they can receive email from, you don't have to worry about them receiving inappropriate email from strangers. The parent sets up a "Buddy list" and the child cannot receive email from a person that isn't on this list, if you aren't a buddy, the email gets put in a "Blocked" folder, where the parent can look through and OK which emails are safe to forward. It's great for kids to communicate with their grandparents. Kids are so tech savvy now. My 9 year old can type faster than her father.

Great first e-mail
Just got ZillaMail for my 9 year old son. We've only had it for a few days but so far we're pleased. He loves being able to e-mail us and the grandparents. The buddy list ensures that he can only communicate with e-mail addresses that I approve.

Well after trying to do the right thing by using a site that does not collect the personal data that google and others do for younger children it was a bust. Many attempts to set it up failed and the customer service was simple a copy from the web site I could read myself.
