What parents need to know
Parents need to know that Teach Me: Kindergarten is an educational app which allows you can fine tune your child's learning experience. You can adjust the amount of correct answers a child is must make in order to earn a reward; you can determine which awards will be available (most are virtual "stickers" to place on one of several backdrops; there are also fish and ornaments for a virtual aquarium. You can also manually raise your child's skill level if you believe the app is starting him or her at too low a point, and you can toggle which subjects you want on or off.
Is it any good?
TEACH ME: KINDERGARTEN does a great job of drilling kids on early math and spelling lessons -- and making them fun at the same time. Math problems are done especially well, allowing kids to manipulate a number of objects onscreen to see how a math problem works in literal terms (for example, "2 + 2" may be accompanied by two balls, and the child can pull two more balls out of a nearby bucket to then count all four together). Click-and-drag controls make playing easy for young ones. And the reward system gives nice incentive for continued use. The use of stickers as rewards shows that the people who created this app really know what 4 and 5-year-olds like.

Amazing for my 5 year old - he's addicted!
My 5 year old actually asks to play this INSTEAD of watching his one hour of TV each day! That is awesome. He diggs the idea that he earns coins and gets ton spend them on digital stickers in the game. Even my 4 year old likes to play. She doesn't have all of the skills with the spelling and sight words that my 5 year old does, but the math has a feature to help her count to the answers. So she gets rewarded too. Actually, they both love it so much that we have had to create a schedule for them to each get their "homework" time. Amazing that this has captured their attention so incredibly much.

Love it - the reward "store" is truly motivating for my kids. I've noticed a big improvement with sight words and math.

We LOVE this app!
I have this app on my iPhone. My 4 year old (who is in preschool) LOVES this game, She can earn coins and buy stuff with ease. She's learned to read/add/subtract etc. This is a GREAT app. Worth every penny!
