Love this free, online game for a simple good time with some educational benefit
I highly recommend this site! It does have some ads, but they are easily ignored and my 8 year old LOVES this game... she would give it 5 stars :-)

Too many ads?
My 4th grade son really enjoys this site. However, he mentioned to me this morning that he is beginning to see more and more ads for movies (i.e. Open Season 2, Pink Panther, etc.) and products, and he asked me why this might be.

My 6 and 7 year old love it!
I can't remember how I came upon this but it is the greatest! Only caveat is the kids have to know how to read. My son is six and is learning how to read but the bubbles (with words) close before he can read them so he will ask his sister to help. Even though you can still play without reading it does help. Also I LOVE that it is a clean, bright site with no ads or stupid repetitive theme songs or noises...really it's pretty quiet and it occupies them for long streches of time. LOVE IT!!!

I lost six brain cells watching this, it is not easy to follow and I think it doesn't teach something valuable to children.

Poptropica is an educational wabsite online game by jeff kinney (creator of diary of a whimpy kid). You go to islands and solve the problem. As of lately you can buy items with credits you earn by solving islands. And now you can save. Finally there are no ads lately. Islands are released every so often. It is fun safe educational. Try it.

I LOVE poptropica! I started playing it when I was introduced to it by my friend.I love great puzzles that get me frustrated sometimes. I always seem to finish the islands in a week or so. I have three accounts and I love to go over the islands again.

I am a kid. I went on Poptropica today for about three hours I was playing. I wanted to go into a ice cream shop. It did not let me in, therefore it reset the page and I couldn't even go back to save my progress so, it lost all of the missions that I completed. It does not remind you to save ,and if you forget or loose your password you cannot have it e-mailed to you. Overall Poptropica is a great site if you want to get your kids angry. Yes, you learn things but they are things of common knowledge and/or useless facts that will not help your child academically in school. I am saying this site sucks. www.Millsberry.com is way better than this crappy site.

I'm eleven, and I passed it on to like, 10 of my friends. It's so much fun, and you don't have to pay like stupid Club Penguin. You get explore, collect, and compete, and it's perfect for all kids. There are no bad sides, except that it's addicting! I recommend it to all kids like me.

I love it I am eleven It keep me busy I used too pass classes of the second graders..3 graders and stuff and I would see what they are doing on the computers so I checked it out at home..I brought it to my teacher for OUR grade computer time she loved!!!
