Our Generous Benefits Package

Common Sense employees enjoy a rich Health & Welfare Benefits package. If you're a full-time employee—regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week—you're eligible once you're hired. Most benefits start the first of the month following your hire date.

Development Manager,Foundations

San Francisco,CA

Salary Range: $85,600 - $101,650

The Development Manager, Foundations will build and manage foundation relationships to support our efforts, particularly our newly formed youth mental health and well-being initiative. The Foundations team is responsible for raising $14M per year, with an existing portfolio of 25 active foundation partners.

Manager, External Affairs

San Francisco, CA

Salary Range: $85,600 - $101,650

The Manager, External Affairs will report to the Head of Public Affairs and support both the Executive and Advocacy teams on a variety of projects related to the impact of tech and media on kids and families.

Workplace & People Operations Manager

San Francisco, CA

Salary Range: $64,000 - $88,000

The Workplace Operations Manager plays a key role as a first point of contact for guests and employees at Common Sense. They will play a key role in positively affecting workplace culture and office efficiency. The Workplace Operations Manager will frequently work and collaborate with staff across the entire organization. They also support some of the key functions of the People Ops. team.

An independent voice for kids, families, and schools everywhere.

Common Sense is a nonprofit organization giving kids, families, and schools the tools to make informed choices about media and technology. Families know us for our independent, age-based reviews of movies, TV shows, books, games, podcasts and apps. Educators use our free curriculum and edtech reviews to plan lessons and integrate technology into their teaching practice. At our core, we are a children's advocacy group. We draw on original research, industry expertise, and community partnerships to advocate for laws and policies that help kids thrive.
