Annual awards ceremony recognizes families, educators, and California legislators leading the nation in protecting children’s digital well-being
WHAT: Common Sense Media will host its annual Common Sense Media Awards at 7:00 pm on November 6, 2025, at Pier 27 in San Francisco.
WHO: Common Sense Media and hundreds of supporters will honor families, educators and legislators for their work in protecting and preparing children for our digital world.
Honorees:
- Champions for Change Award: Gina and Steve Meyer
- Digital Citizenship Hero Award: Dr. Ricardo Elizalde
- Educator of the Year Award: Alice Waters
- Excellence in Family Storytelling Award: Melanie Zanetti
- Policy Leadership for Kids and Families Award: California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Assemblymember Buffy Wicks, and Victoria and Paul Hinks
