Common Sense supports FCC's Internet privacy proposal
Statement from James P. Steyer, Founder & CEO, Common Sense Media
We applaud Chairman Wheeler for taking the next step toward improving privacy protection for all Americans online, including the privacy of our families with children. We all need to use the Internet today; it is not a choice. But we should have a choice as to how the personal information we give up online is used and shared. By commencing a rulemaking, Chairman Wheeler is taking an important step forward in giving us all this choice.
