The Pre-K for MA campaign is gathering momentum, and we need your help.

Take action on an issue that matters and join us in support of high-quality Pre-K.

September 10, 2015

Please join us on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, as our supporters attend a hearing on legislation to make high-quality Pre-K more accessible in Massachusetts.  We will meet at 9 a.m. at the Gardner Auditorium in the Massachusetts State House.

The legislation sponsored by Representative Alice Peisch, cochair of the Joint Committee on Education, and Senator Sal DiDomenico, vice chair of the Senate Ways and Means Committee, will provide high-quality pre-K to all 3- and 4-year-olds living in low-performing districts in Massachusetts through a targeted, phased-in approach. This comprehensive plan is modeled after the New Jersey Abbott Preschool Program, which has helped to narrow the achievement gap in communities that needed help the most.

To attend the hearing, please RSVP to Louisa Sullivan, Boston organizer, at [email protected]
