Upcoming action game set in violent dystopian future.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Glitchpunk is an action adventure game for Windows PCs. The game is set in a near futuristic dystopia after nuclear war, catastrophic climate change, and other societal upheaval has wrecked the planet. Players take on the role of an android that's glitched against its standard programming, and has decided to take arms against the chaos in the streets. Not only will you have multiple firearms at your disposal, you'll be able to collect gear modules that will provide special enhanced abilities, such as turning invisible or super speed. Characters can also use their android's hacking skills to turn enemies against each other, drive them into traffic, or overheat components in cars to make them explode. Along the way, players will have the option to pick and choose the characters that they'll interact with from one of 12 different gangs. Each decision that's made will radically change the direction of the gameplay by branching the story along different paths, ensuring that each playthrough should be radically unique as you move from one episode to the next, which will also take you across multiple cities scattered around this dystopian world. The game's heavily inspired by Grand Theft Auto 2 in its social commentary, so players should expect content on AI, nuclear weapons, transhumanism, religion, and other potentially controversial or complex topics. Also due to its game inspiration, players should expect lots of violence with firearms, melee weapons, vehicles and more. Kill streaks are a vital component of the game, along with frequent explosions and large splashes of blood that coat the streets. There are also frequent references to drugs and drug use in the game, as well as references to sex in the plot.
