Managing Your Donor Information

Common Sense uses a third-party platform,, to process online donations and event registrations. Because many nonprofits use the Classy platform, they allow donors to create and maintain a profile to manage their donations across various organizations.

If you are a recurring donor to Common Sense, you can update your credit card information or adjust your donation amount, if needed, by logging into your Classy profile. Maintaining your payment information on a separate platform ensures that Common Sense never has access to your credit card information. Editing Your Classy Profile

  1. To access your recurring donor profile, you will first need to log in to your member profile. (If you do not remember setting this up, don't worry. This was created for you automatically the first time you donated on the Classy platform.) If you do not remember your password, simply click Forgot Password? on the login screen here:
  2. Once you have access to your member profile, scroll to the bottom of the My Profile tab of the member profile. Here you will see your active recurring donations listed. If you are looking to edit your recurring donation, click Edit and enter the new billing information for your recurring profile. Once this is completed, the changes will take effect on the next scheduled billing date of your transaction.
