After Iris

After Iris is a great book about loss and the meaning of family. The main character skips out on school sometimes and gets in trouble. I think that this book is for mature 10 year olds and 11 year olds and up because of the information about boys and the main character's sister having a boyfriend. The book has really good messages about family, friendship, and overcoming troubles after loss.
