Good Book

Great book with a good plot. Overall I didn't enjoy the author's writing style but I think it was still a good book. I was a bit disappointed with the main character and her morales, and there was a lot of violence. There was a lot of passionate kissing, which I also didn't enjoy but it added to the story well.

I love it

It's a great book! A little violence at times but not that bad... I am in that age range that lots of books are to young and others are to old but this one is perfect!!! Just the right amount of mature... their is some kissing but not a ton... I do not think children under the age of 12 should read this book but it is completely up to the parents

great book

It was such a good book, I really liked it. It has a bit of kissing, but 12 and up can definitely handle it. but the violence in it is pretty high up there, the main character gets tortured and whipped kind of frequently, but she mostly just thinks back to it. Overall great read, you shouldn't miss it!

Amazing and Interesting Fantasy Romance Novel!

I really like this book, it really draws you into the plot and you can connect with the characters. What I like the most about this book was it has great messages about staying strong and family and friends. One thing for people to keep in mind is there are references and scenes about torture that Theodosia endures. Overall this is a really amazing book, but if you are more sensitive maybe this is a later read.

I wish this book was better......

There are a lot of reasons why you SHOULDN'T read this book (Also, there will be a lot of spoilers in my review). First of all, the main character isn't a great role model. She spends most of the book telling the readers that she's a queen, and that she has to save her country, but she never actually does anything good. I didn't really like the main character, honestly. She treated her friends terribly for most of the book, planning to kill them whenever they weren't around. She poisoned her best friend, and tried to kill another friend. The other characters aren't great either. Also, this book is really similar to the third Hunger Games book, except that Hunger Games is a lot better. I wish I liked this book more, but I just didn't, even though I love fantasy books. The ending was also really confusing and not very good. It's one of those books that needs a second book, or else the story doesn't make any sense. Nothing good happens to any of the characters, and most of the characters are creepy and bad by the end. This might be the worst review I've ever given for anything, and I'm sorry. I really did want to like it.
