Great!
I had to read this book for school when we were learning about the holocaust, and I was reluctant because I didn't really enjoy history. But I read this book, and changed my mind. The story teaches the reader about the horrors of those times while also being an exciting read. I was never bored, and I was glad that my teacher forced me to read it because I loved it!

We read this in 8th grade
The book was really good! It's a historical fiction written in the point of view of a young Jewish boy named Daniel. Might make you cry, but it's worth the read.

Great book!
I love this book. We read it in our 5th grade social studies class. We read a holocost book every year (different for each grade) because my school is Jewish. May creep some younger kids out.
