Very good, should be a series

This was a really good novel! I loved Jessamin - she's a strong-willed character who uses her smarts to save herself and others. And Finn is an interesting character; his romance with Jessamin just fits. I only wish the book was longer because it felt like it needed more expanding on the universe, and I honestly feel like this would work better as a book series. But I really enjoyed it overall!
Violence: Lots of fantasy violence. A man breaks a woman's fingers with magic; blood is described. A few deaths. Characters are injured. A beloved creature is killed.
Sex: Some references and blossoming romance between the two leads. Kissing is described but not in too much detail.
Language: Some mild swears.
