One of the best books ive read
This book is amazing! Kikos character is incredible, and it gave me a whole new perspective to what happens behind closed doors. I think that 13 year olds should read it and maybe 12 year olds. This book isnt that bad but in some parts that are a little bad. ***SPOILERS*** She goes to party where a drunk guy kisses her without her consent, there is a single use of the f-word, later it is found out that her uncle groped her foot while she was sleeping and jacked off to her on her bed, her mother is mentally ill and makes her and her siblings fell bad about themselves, kikos younger brother attempts suicide but it didnt go into detail. Overall its a very heartwarming book about this girl who is trying to find herself and escape from her mentally abusive mother.

So beautiful!!
Akemi Dawn Bowman is an absolutely brilliant YA novel writer and all her books are so incredibly flowy. I also love how drawing and painting are incorporated in this book. Highly recommend!!

Outstanding book
This book made me feel so many emotions and I found myself always wanting to read it more. Kiko, the main character, was an artist and I loved the way she thought and how she showed her feeling through art. This was one of the best books I’ve ever read!! LOVED this book
