Kid reviews for The Rumor Game

Before we start this i would like to admit that yes, I am only 12. I read this book because I kinda made my parents let me. I loved the style of writing and the characters. However, even I would admit that there is no real plot line other than fat-shaming "slut-shaming" and people hooking up and cheating on each other. There are no real sex scenes but rumors go around the entire time about some bad things and girls are constantly called sluts online when people think that they are cheating, while guys are congragulated. There is also some racism from the families of the teens. Some parents might have a problem with stories about high schoolers having sex, personally I think that is in all books like this but whatever. I got through all of that just fine but the real problem is that a girl gets raped towards the end of the book. I would like to point out that I hate this webiste also just bcuz. These things are just small parts of a book however. I would wait till 7th or 8th grade. Other than that-GREAT BOOK
