Some parts are just not interesting

I think that the series is pretty good but some parts of the book just doesn’t have your attention because the words just get you off track and confusing at some times but over all a great book to read

I didn't like it. I think it was great educational value, and it really did teach me a lot about the law, but the ending seem rushed, like the author ran out of ideas or something. Maybe I'm just being being biased because this book was asigned to me as summer reading, idk. In my opinion this book is nothing special.

It’s Ok, Give it a shot

I thought it was a average book if you want your kids to get the most out of reading unfortunately this is not your book. Yet is is a funny and easy read. But has absolutely 0 vocabulary in the book. But I would give it a shot.

Theodore Boone is AMAZING

This is my favorite book series. I want to be a lawyer when I grow up too so I thought it was really good! It's about a murder, so it has some violence. I definitely would recommend it to 12+

Okay

There are lots of great legal components and a great way to learn a little bit of law. The plots are kind of exciting, but I wasn't exactly attached and quit on the 5 book. His uncle does smoke and drink, but nothing to really worry about. The first three are good, but then it just gets worse.

Amazing

This book is fantastic. It includes a murder trial that has no evidence or witness. Theodore is a boy that has his dreams set on being a lawyer. He sets out to find evidence but finds nothing. Then, one of the kids that he helps with homework, said he knew a witness. The witness was Julio's cousin. Julio was the kid that Theodore helped with homework. Theodore shares this information with Judge Gantry, which Theo knows really well. Judge Gantry declares a mistrial. Then, the trial was rescheduled.

The best book ever!!

This is the best book series I have ever read. This book series is named Theodore Boone by John Grisham. The main character, Theodore Boone, is a thirteen-year-old, aspiring lawyer who uses his legal knowledge and investigative skills to solve crimes, and seek justice in court. Theodore's actions affect the community by solving difficult cases and making the city stronger by taking out the criminals. The first book in the series is Kid Lawyer. This action- packed book starts off the series with introducing the main character and what Theodore loves and appreciates about being a kid lawyer and studying law. The one thing I love in the book is the action. Once you pick up this book you will not want to put it down, and that’s why I would recommend it for ages 11 and up.

Fairly good

This is a review for the whole series, so I'll keep it spoiler free. These are my first John Grisham books and I have to say they are fairly good. They do a good job telling a legal conflict through the perspective of Theo Boone, the main character. Although most of the situations are most likely wouldn't happen in real life, they are still pretty entertaining, what you'd probably get from a legal thriller. Something I don't like about the series is the lack of continuity; each book is its own separate story, and the previous conflicts are barely referenced to make an overarching story. I do see potential for a series like this with continuity, but it can possibly detract from the goal of being light-hearted for kids. Overall, I would recommend to tweens and up if they are interested in or would like an introduction to law. (The video game Ace Attorney is also really good legal adventure for tweens, but it is really inaccurate and this series strives for accuracy to educate.)
