Mixed Feelings

I don't want to sound too critical of this book, but I didn't find it to be all that great. The beginning was extremely promising. But then the middle came. So boring. I hardly even remember what happened in the middle of the story. A huge letdown, honestly, because I was so excited for the book to come out. The end picked up some slack, but it couldn't redeem the middle of the book. As for the content of the book: CSM missed the fact that this book contains at least 7 s-words. Plus, this book has a minor character who turns out to be a lesbian. No kissing, but there's a mention of a wedding between the two characters. Overall, this book was a disappointment mostly because of the pacing, but also because it was a big letdown for me.
