Getting better

Bloodier than its predecessor but not gory. Blood stains and tracks on enviroments and there is bloody but not gory decapitation. Several areas with sometimes bloody dead civilians. Less profanity though. More polished and robust game features.

Good for older kids, but not for tweens

My husband and I have played this game multiple times. It really is a fun game. Would I let a 7 year old play it? Absolutely not. But if my son were 15 or 16 I'd have no problem letting him get it as long as I was positive that he knew this isn't how you act in real life and that it is simply a game, made for enjoyment and entertainment. Nothing more.

Army of Two: The 40th Day

Very easy to play. The first Army of Two was much better, but this is just as good.

Good for mature pre- teens

There is close to no gore in this game, the only gore I see is the nub enemies leave when they are killed by a headshot. There is no F- bomb in this game and if there is, one I can't hear it, and two it would be rated " strong language" if the game had it. The only problem is that the story stinks. It's just an excuse to blow stuff up. The weapon customization is great and so is the gameplay. If your child is over 13 or even 12 and they are mature, it's a game to consider buying.

I was dissapointed.

i loved the first Army of two, it had strategy, it was funny, it was exciting, the graphics were great for it's time, just a great game! But this one had bad graphics, there was not nearly as much strategy in it, just not that good. I would reommend it for 12+. It was suprisingly gory, the gore was not realestic at all though, and there is not nearly as much swearing as there was in the first army of two, but in my mind, blood and gore is not quite as bad as swearing, but that depends on the maturity of the audience!
