Comparing this to other C&C games this is average at best. The gameplay is fun no doubt about it. It still has that classic fast paced action and the special abilities do fit with the units. The game looks amazing too. Looks better than C&C Tiberium wars to be honest. But the story was just ridiculous. The story blows things way out of proportions and it lacked the seriousness that Red Alert 1 had. The summary of the story is this, The Soviets lost the war against the Allies and in desperation they went back in time to kill Einstein. Then in the alternate timeline the Allies are losing the war then Russia was invaded by Japan with Giant Mecha Robots and Mechanical Dragonflies. Is it worth your money though? Well if its on a sale sure but in its full price no just no. Buy C&C Kane's Wrath or get the older C&C games for free on Origin.

A violent but great game that is no longer about strategies

This game includes fighting scenes and even blood. It is not appropriate for young kids. The game is now less about your strategies compared to its prequel. Instead, it focuses more on the players' reacting speed and the number of units you can build. You can never be defensive enough now and your army can be super weak when fighting against the computer because you are not able to command them to react in so many different ways faster than the computer does. It's hard to control multiple different characters at the same time. The prequel of this game is so much better. All kinds of weapons in this game are also scary and devastating. This game is super cool though, thanks to all the sophisticated weapons and supernatural powers.

This is awesome! BTW Zhana, Natasha, and Dasha [the Russian girls in this game] were all born in Moscow, Russia. Dasha is 10 years old, Natasha is 41 years old, and Zhana is 49 years old. Zhana is ethnically Ukrainian, Dasha is Russian, and Natasha is Middle Eastern.

Red Alert 3 is a mixed bag. On one hand you've got some impressive units and humor, plus inventive army designs. On the other you have mediocre controls, a disjointed story, and annoying sidekicks that actually interfere with your gameplay. However, this game has parachuting war bears. fired out of giant self-propelled cannons. You heard that right. Features mild violence, mainly unfortunate allied soldiers getting eaten by aforementioned parachuting war bears once they land. Still acceptable game.
