what I would call a true VR game

This game is a true VR game, not a ported game like Skyrim. Some of the moving around is a bit clunky, but you can adapt to it. The story line is pretty easy to follow. The guns used are good, and you can truly aim with them when you use the gun controller that this game is designed for. One thing to note: this is a standing game, not a sitting game. The game stays calibrated "okay", though I noticed some drift in the aiming point of the gun. You can reset the aim point by pointing the gun up twice. This will take you to your second weapon, and then back to the first weapon. For the most part, you'll use the semiautomatic rifle and shotgun. Be sparing with the special ammo - you'll need it from time to time. Overall, an enjoyable game.

One of the Best VR games I've ever experienced.

I've been waiting since I got PSVR to play a game like Farpoint. An actual game, not just a 2 hour 'test run' with little thought involved. The story is very well balanced and engaging. Graphics are the best of any VR game I've seen. The shooting is extremely fun. It's basically like shooting a real gun; you lift it up, look through the sight, and fire. I know, obvious right? Not really. Most games require you to hold L to aim. Well since this is basically real life so if you suck at shooting in real life you're going to suck here. And vise versa. This prepares you for real alien encounters if ever to have one ;). The enemies are frightening, but also bad a** at the same time. Everything progresses and it's a long (full) game. You will not regret this. The only game I feel was developed with full intent to please the gamer vs the profits of the company. Literally the only issue with this game is the controls are pretty annoying when trying to shoot left or right. You have to be facing straight on or it glitches out and you die. Which happens more often than not. Needs some tweaking.
