Gorgeous platformer is great fun and well made

In Rayman Legends, the sequel to one of 2011's best games, Rayman Origins, you are on a quest to stop the dark versions of creatures known as Teensies from infesting the Glade of Dreams. The game contains quite a bit of cartoonish violence, including punching, slapping, getting blown up, and more. However, it's nothing more (in some cases less) than what typical kid's shows these days have, and characters just turn into bubbles once killed. The graphics are absolutely beautiful, the soundtrack is catchy, and the stages are great fun. Also, there are musical stages containing both original and liscenced songs. Hearing a marachi version of "Eye of the Tiger" or a luau version of "Woo Hoo" (the Vontage commercial song) is almost guarenteed to put a smile on your face. The game also has multiplayer in both the story (4 on most consoles, 2 on Vita, which is online co-op only, and 5 on Wii U) and a soccer/football meets karate minigame called Kung Foot, online weekly challenges for the Wii U and PS Vita versions, most of the levels from the previous game Rayman Origins remastered, and a multitude of character variations to play as. In short, Rayman Legends is easily one of the year's best games, and the most kid-friendly of those best games, too.

A Great Value Platformer

I bought this on the Wii U and it was packed with content, and the levels are extremely well designed and the game play is fast-paced and addictive! However, I have rated this 8 and up purely because the game is by no means easy, and will often have you trying multiple times just to progress to the next stage. If you want something a bit easier, then I would recommend Super Mario 3D World instead, but other than that, the game is amazing!

One of my favorites.

Rayman Legends is a great game. With it's positive story line (fighting evil) and it's goofy characters Rayman Legends is sure to be a favorite of anyone who becomes dedicated to it.

Parents Guide about it

2 characters look like there naked but no complete though. Characters attacks with hitting enemies but no blood. At the last levels of World 5 in Rayman Legends they can be pretty frightening. The last level show dragons, lava, fire on the last music level. On one of them when you attack the huge enemies its kinda looks like blood. One of the level its says what the duck which could mean the what the f word. Another one is called the first word is the h word.
