Great game ruined by shotty controls and constant "SONIC"s from the controller

Sonic's StoryBook games are cool yet very s***y at the same time. Gameplay is fine, basic Real Time RPG kinda like Final Fantasy but the real thing is the controls, man they are slippery like the Attack command is the 2 Button? and every once in a while the controller yells "SONIC!!!" and "Good Attack!" and then Tails yells "LOW HEALTH!!! ABORT MISSION!!!" until you get more health

Decent

With Sonic using a Sword, a bit of Violence is used. It's not bad, but still.

Watch out- Knuckles makes a reference to suicide!

This game was almost perfect! Sonic has gone back to his "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" demeanor, so it looked like wholesomeness might ensue in this game. 'Caliburn, his talking sword a la Excalibur, is also a great character. The graphics, as always, are great! There is some name-calling between the two of them, such as "fool", "stupid", and something like "piece of rust". But the reason I gave this thing two stars is because there is some dark magic. The boss is a sorceress. Why couldn't SEGA make a different boss or use Robotnik again? And just before you get to the sorceress's portion, Knuckles (who's playing Gawain) makes a joke about suicide. King Arthur, one of the enemies in this game, does the same. Hey SEGA, did you see the suicides in the newspaper? And did you know that suicide is unacceptable in God's Law? For this reason, this game is BANNED in my house! Oh, and Sonic jokes about Halloween (he's in a demonic-looking level, that's why) which is a pagan holiday.

Sonic and the Black Knight, basically

It's a fine game. Of course, not the best Sonic game to enter the franchise, but fine overall. Controls were wonky because it tried motion controls, it failed in that category just as Sonic and the Secret Rings did. Graphics weren't the best, but it's a Wii game, what did you expect? I quite like the storybook games story-wise. They always interest me and they're pretty good. So, it wasn't bad. Failed in some categories but won in some as well. If you like knights, motion controls, and Sonic, give this game a shot.

Sonic and the Black Knight does NOT deserve the hate it gets!

The game DOES have some difficult and occasionally unfair sections, but overall, the game improves on the already great concepts found in it's predecessor. It's really a shame that we never got another Storybook game. The game's controls do take some time to learn, and they may be a bit too difficult for younger users, but I still think the game can still be okay for older kids.

Sonic loses his spark

This game was very disappointing. It's very hard to control, but it's great for kids as it contains great positive messages. But it does have great consumerism and a lot of violence.

This is a sequel to Sonic and the secret rings. The controls require a nun-chuck so the controls are better than the previous game in the Story Book series. This gets pretty challenging once you make a lot of progress in the story mode. You and your friends from 2 to 4 players can duel each other with the characters and arenas you unlock in the story mode. This mode is Battle Mode. This is a fun game but like the last game, it is very possible to rage quit.

Good game.

Sega's mascot enters Arthurian kingdom, somewhat great for learning because the "Collections" section has a few books about King Arthur. Some violence, not for young kids.
