Violence and Sexual Content

This game is gory. The main villian cuts out eyes and one man's brain. The problem with this is that it is your choice. You chose who died. This may be a concern for yourself/kid. In game, theres a lot of blood. I mean alot. Enemies can explode into blood. This game also includes a fierce amound of sexual content. The main character and another woman have intercoarse multiple times in cutscenes. No nudity is shown. Swearing: F*** S*** etc. Extra: If you are looking for a long game, dont look towards here, it is 4 discs on the 360, but holds hours of content. The game is still a great one in quality. Fantastic Graphics.

A Nazi Killin' gory fun fest!

Now, if there is one thing that should be a common pastime for everyone on planet earth, it's killing Nazis. And this game is exactly for that, murdering Nazis in cold blood for no reason other than, "die"! The story is tense, the combat is enjoyable and engaging, ONE OF THE MISSIONS IS GOING INTO OUTER SPACE AND KILLING NAZIS ON THE MOON! I mean come on, that's great. There are some occasional sex scenes, swear words are abundant, and the game can feel kind of dated, but this is an enjoyable experience throughout

Very violent and gory, and very difficult.

This is a great game. This game does show a lot of graphic content such as swearing, gore, blood, and extremely mature themes. I would reccommened this to older teens who are mature. There is also a few parts where there is loud sex with moaning.

A good game, but a little too much.

It's a great game. I've played through the entire game and it's fun, but there are 3 things I don't like. 1. Saying f**k every 5 minutes 2. Showing 2 sex scenes 3. Some of the game is gory, for example, you can aim a shotgun at a soldier's head and the head just explodes. That's it. I recommend you are 17+ if you want to play.

Gory bloody scenes

Well yes there is blood and gore. And cusing. You can skip the sex scenes. There is not really any drugs or drinking. In this game. Let your kid have it.

Amazing story, very violent though

The first thing you should know is this is set in an alternate universe where the Nazis won WW2. The only thing I really didn't like was the sex scenes but most people wouldn't care about that and be more worried 'bout the violence . There is 2 sex scenes but they are skippable). The ending was amazing, and there is a few torture scenes and some difficult decisions. The game is currently $20 USD not $60 from what common sense media says. You kill hundreds if not thousands of nazis in sometimes brutal fashions (eg. stabbing, slicing, blowing up) and they are graphic including heads being blown off and being exploded into a million peices (includes guts going everywhere). If you are mature enough to play this game it is definately worth the cheap amount of $20. The boss fights are well thought out and same with each character's backstory. It deals with some more sensitive themes such as racism, head trauma, diseases, mass slaughter/torture, and how evil the Nazi's are and your character is very loyal but he hates Nazi's and loves to kill them.

Good game, but not for childern

Really good First-Person Shooter, the gun play feels great, there's a good variety of weapons, the story is pretty good too. Graphics: Really good graphics and visuals, really looks nice. Gameplay: Really fun gameplay, it does get a little repetitive after a while, but it's still a blast to shoot Nazis! Story: The story is set in an alternate universe where Nazi Germany won World War II. I really liked the story personally, it was nice and refreshing. Performance: The performance works pretty well for me. I'll list the system requirements at the bottom. Family Concerns: This game is definitely not for childern. There's torture scenes, lots of gore, plenty of blood splattering all over the place and dismemberment. The amount of violence is pretty crazy. I won't go into detail over the violence, but I think I pretty much summed it up. There's also a sex scene of a man and a woman, not too much can be seen, but you can see the side of the females cleavage and it's heavily implied that they're having intercourse... there's a lot of moaning too. There's another sex scene too, but I'm just talking about the first one. There's another sex scene involving the protagonist and a female later in the game after the first one, which is more intense. Overall: Really fun, great story, great gameplay, great graphics, great everything! It gets a little repetitive, but that's about it. Not for children due to the large amount of violence. There's also two sex scenes in total. Age recommendation: 18, or if your child is highly mature, 16. System Requirements: MINIMUM: OS: 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8 Processor: Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce 460, ATI Radeon HD 6850 Storage: 50 GB available space Additional Notes: AMD Radeon users: Please install AMD Catalyst™ 14.4 System Requirements taken from Steam. P.S. Sorry for the messy long wall of text. Common Sense Media doesn't allow me to make paragraphs.

Surprisingly thoughtful for a shooter, but very gruesome.

Up-close torture, exploding heads, and chunks of meat are what's to be expected from the violence in this game. It's gruesome, like worse-than-GTA gruesome. None the less, it is a great game story wise, and it's alternate WWII timeline is very interesting and immersive. While I recommend the game, I do not recommend it to anyone under 16.

This game deserves a "high five"

This game has to be in one of my top ten favorite games, and I believe that it will stay there, even with the games might play. Anyway, this game is, in fact, a very bloody and violent game. There are multiple weapons that you can use, including some rather futuristic laser guns, and can dismember and decapitate enemies (all nazis). There is one scene where there's brutal torture, and may be hard to watch. There are some sexual scenes that are quite graphic, but there is no nudity. The language in this is very limited, and may just be other languages. But over all of the blood and sex, this game has a great story that deserved to be played twice. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

Bloody Brilliant (get it?)

This is one of the goriest games I have ever played, but one of the best as well! The thing that makes this game R is the violence and gore, there are a few torture scenes in the game that may upset some players. There is a lot of swearing, usually the common f-word and s-word. There are 2 sex scenes which are very subtle and not very graphic and don't show much. In the first scene, you can partially see the woman's breasts and you can slightly see her buttocks, in the 2nd scene, the sex is more intense, but no nudity is shown. Some people may get offended by all of the Nazis and references to Hitler, although Hitler is never seen in the game. A lot of the Nazis say "Heil Hitler", and in an easter egg, you play the original Wolfenstein (which I thought was a nice touch) and throughout the level you can see pixelated portraits of Hitler. There is one scene that depicts the use of drugs, and that's when a man gets some LSD and gives it to you, and you get to see what your character sees while delirious. To sum up, this is a great game, but to those who can't handle the themes, I recommend you don't play it.

It is a lot more gorier than it looks It is definitely in my top 5 most violent games. Some guns have the power to rip bodies. In some cases after shooting a bad guy in the chest you can see ribs and organs. In one scene a woman gets her jaw mangled and she spits blood and is smiling while talking. teeth blood and bone visible. The robot that mangled her throws her away. The is two sex scenes but no nudity is shown apart from the woman's underwear. nothing explicit. A great shooter for mature teens.

Amazing game

I've played through this entire game and it's one of the greatest I've ever played. The weapons feel AMAZING, the enemies just explode EVERYWHERE. You use a variety of weapons to shoot your way through from sci-fi weapons to regular 20th century weapons. This game is about shooting, shooting, and shooting. There is also two minor sex scenes, but no nudity is shown. I would say that if your child is mature enough he can play this game. You kill old Nazis, new Nazis, ugly Nazis, robot Nazis, crazy Nazis, moon Nazis, big Nazis, and small Nazis. This game is about killing Nazis.

Game of the Year is not very family friendly, it's very Mature.

In Wolfenstein: The New Order, you assume the role of William B.J. Blazkowicks, and very American patriot who ends up in a comma in 1946 after taking shrapnel to the head. He soon wakes up in 1960 and learns that through the access of advanced technology, the Nazis have won World War II and have taken over the world. The game contains a significant amount of violence, swearing and sex. Players assault rifles, sniper rifles, and other weapons to kill Nazi's in over the top ways. Players are frequently able to blow off enemies limbs or heads with their weapons, and slit throats of enemies through stealth takedowns. Sometimes the player can straight up blow up enemies into gory chunks with a laser weapon or grenades. Cutscenes contain even more over-the-top depictions of violence such as an up close camera angle of a man slitting a Nazi's throat, a Nazi repeatadly stabbed to death, a Nazi beaten and interrogated while bound in a chair, and last but definatley not least, a very gruesome scene in which one of B.J.'s old friends is tortured and killed. During the scene B.J.'s friend's eyes are taken out by a scalpel, out on a table as a machine cuts open his back and peels the skin on his back revealing his spinal cord, a drill drilling a hole in the back of his head while another machine sucks his brain out. There is another scene where a Nazi comes into a mental asylum and shoots every patient in the head with a pistol, and kills two innocent doctors. But that's not all, there are not one, but TWO sex scenes in the game. One of those scenes depicts a woman gyrating on top of another mans pelvic area, while another scene shows a man thrusting against a woman on a table. (Neither of these scenes contain nudity, though not obscured well either.) Though it's not a sex scene to just be a sex scene. It shows how two characters relationship evolves and develops. There is one extra scene where a character, heavily inspired by Jimmi Hendrix, gives the player a drop of acid. The player then has hallucinations, and is also rewarded with an armor upgrade. The words "f**k", "Sh*t", appear in the dialogue, as well as one instance of the word "c*nt". Another note to add is that since this game is about Nazis taking over the world, there is A LOT of heavy subject matter, and should be taken into consideration if sensitive to such material. Though the game does the absolute opposite of endorsing or promoting the acts of the Nazi Regime.

Violent shooter that is just so-so.

Wolfenstein is an okay game. At times the gameplay can get a little old and the story and characters aren't very intriguing. There is a little sex, graphic violence, and some strong language. Overall, Wolfenstein is an okay game.
