Good movie, with some exceptions

Personally, I really enjoyed this movie. I'm a sucker for angsty romances. However, there are many elements of this film that you need to think about while watching it, and it is not an accurate representation of many teen dynamics. There was a fair amount of sex and profanity, as well as drug use and underage drinking. I feel that as long as the viewer can understand that many of the actions in this film were taken too lightly and aren't good examples for their stage in life, this movie can be enjoyable. Kids are exposed to all of these things through social media and school, so I believe that it is better to have good conversations about these things (i.e. drug use, sex, drinking) and learn to trust kids, than shelter them from things we are already exposed to. So no, the role models may not be the best, and the stereotypes are incorrect regarding sex, but with a certain level of maturity this movie is a funny, interesting watch.
