GOLDFINGER

Great movie but csm missed a lot of language such as damned, hell, and insults like fool. Teens would love this movie though! Bond's best actors are..................... 1. Daniel Craig 2. Sean Connery -3. Timothy Dalton -3. Pierce Brosnan 4. Roger Moore 5. George Lazenby 6. David Niven 6. David Niven

Bond, James Bond is a Classic part of Male History for better and worse...

OK, in this day & age of access to more media/visual stimulation than ever, the choices are often the lesser of xyz evils. On the other hand, we are very fortunate our son is an intelligent, fun, social, kind & caring boy. We let him make as many choices as possible with guidance as needed. He decided he wanted to watch the Bond movies. On the one hand, Bond movies have their share of sexual and violent scenes that are not suitable for kids, I forward through some parts. His treatment of women is rather shocking, especially when he throws a woman on the bed after she says no. These were different times, yet this would most likely be considered rape nowadays. On the other hand Bond also has plenty of intelligence, charisma, ingenuity, and pure classic Golden Age of Cinema entertainment that helps guide the journey from boy to man. As long as the boy has enough self-love and knows right from wrong Bond movies will not hurt (and could even help) this Journey.

AWESOME

One of the best, and among my favorite Bond films

This movie has a consistently talented cast, including (as usual) Sean Connery as Bond and Bernard Lee as M, and a very interesting turn from Gert Frobe, who is an expert at playing Goldfinger, who has a diabolical plan for chaos. The action is very well handled, and the main bad guys are some of the best I've seen in the Bond franchise so far. There are shootouts with little to no blood, some scenes of electrocution, menace, and Bond uses his fists to fight some of his adversaries (he even uses a woman to defend himself from an attacking man). Speaking of using women, he still has his playboy habits and personality: he uses women, and sleeps with them, but I am glad that the filmmakers don't linger on that aspect for too long (the scenes he has with the women only appear intermittently). The most suggestive scenes in the movie are when in the opening credits there is some belly-dancing, brief partial rear nudity, and shadowy images of female nudity. Oh, and there's also a very suggestive name given to Honor Blackman's character. An overall thrilling film, but parents should be wary of these issues before deciding to let older, mature teens watch it. 8/10
