Disney actually made a good sequel!!
This movie was pretty good. It wasn't better than the first one but it's pretty good. It was a very heart-warming movie and made me cry. Yes, it was sad but in the end, it makes you feel good.

Listen up people, the sequel is just as good as the first (3 and 4 aren't)
SEQUEL TO this movie:
In a place far, far away, illegal genetic experiment #626 is detected: Ruthless scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba has created a strong, intelligent, nearly indestructible and aggressive being with only one known weakness: The high density of his body makes it impossible for the experiment to swim in water. The scientist is sentenced to jail by the Grand Council of the Galactic Federation. The experiment is supposed to be transported to a prison asteroid, yet manages to escape Captain Gantu, who was supposed to deliver him there. With a stolen police cruiser (the red one), the destructive being races towards a little and already doomed planet: Earth. Stranded on Hawaii, experiment #626 can't actually do much harm: water all around, no big cities and two well-equipped representatives of the Galactic Federation already following close behind to catch him again. But Dr. Jookiba and the Earth expert Pleakley never could have guessed that earth girl Lilo adopts the experiment as dog, gives him the name Stitch and actually causes an emotional development in the little beast. Her dysfunctional family, consisting only of Lilo and her sister Nani, is about to be ripped apart by social worker Cobra Bubbles. Stitch as the new family member brings quite some action into all their lives, and after a while, not even Pleakley and Dr. Jookiba can recognize their former target. But how shall they bring the news of failure to the Grand Councilwoman without being punished?

How to ruin a great idea
It should have been a masterpiece if Lilo wasn't that nasty to Stitch. Secondly, I didn't even cry once during this movie.

An extremely depressing but well-written sequel
Where do I start with this movie? On one hand, it is well written, but on the other hand, it is the most depressing Disney film I have ever watched (and yes, I have watched The Lion King). I would like to mention that this review does contain spoilers, so read at your own risk, or skip to the end for my conclusion.
The basic plot of this film features around both Lilo and Stitch. Lilo is going to enter the same hula competition her mother won when she was young, and enlists Stitch's help to make the perfect hula dance. Meanwhile, Stitch is having seizures and is very clearly frightened of them. It isn't that pleasing to watch. This seizures (or 'glitches' as the film calls them) are a result of Stitch's programming having never been completed before the events of the first movie, and if they aren't fixed, Stitch will die. He suffers more seizures and gets more violent with each one. He and Lilo become more distant in their friendship and he secludes himself from the family under the assumption that he is going back to his old monstrous ways.
Eventually, it is time for the Hula contest, and Lilo is nervous without her partner. Stitch quickly visits Lilo behind the stage before she starts her dance, but has another seizure, accidentally cutting Lilo's face in the process. He runs away and hijacks Jumba's spaceship, which has been hidden away after the events of the first movie. Heading back into space, he looks at Earth for one last time before having another seizure, which results in the ship crashing down into a mountain and Stitch dying.
The ending scene featuring the family trying to revive Stitch is heartbreaking, and his last words just make it even more worse. As it is a Disney film, he comes back to life! This does make the scene a bit more happy, but it doesn't stop me from having cried rivers.
The acting is very good in this film. Dakota Fanning now plays Lilo and she does a decent job. She can definitely express emotions and Lilo's friendship with Stitch is very believable. Chris Sanders returns as Stitch and does a great job as the blue alien, especially in the second half of the film. The rest of the cast are also fine and are just as good as they were in the first film (not including Pleakley, who is absolutely annoying).
The animation is also just as great as it was in the first movie, as this was originally meant to be released in theaters, before being releases straight to video and DVD instead. It is the last time the watercolour art style would be used, as the following movies and TV show would use a much cheaper, generic look.
Overall, this is a decent film and one of Disney's better sequels. The first film didn't really set this up, so you could argue that this is a pointless movie, but I would disagree. This is because this film does a perfect job of highlighting Lilo and Stitch's relationship together and also happens to be one of the few Disney films that makes me cry on each viewing. However, I don't think it should be shown to younger children as they may not understand it (a lot of the film centers around talking) or may get bored of it. ★★★☆☆

For once, Disney made an actaully good direct-to-video sequel
This sequel wasn't half bad! I was very surprised. It had the same heart and humor of the original, it even had a lot of drama. I really enjoyed it. If you love Lilo and Stitch and you want too see more of them but you are scared that the sequel will ruin these lovable characters, then don't worry becuase Lilo and Stitch 2 is wonderful sequel to the original animated film! Smiley-face : )

I didn't like this one...
I liked the first one, but this one wasn't good. I'm getting tired of Disney releasing a good movie in the theaters, and then making a straight-to-DVD sequel. Because the sequel always fails.
