it better than I remember it it about where Olaf hears about Christmas Traditions and feels bad for Elsa and Anna when he finds out they don’t have any so he ventures out with Sven to find them some it got a lot of good songs and of course a few funny bits when it comes to Olaf and in the end he did bring out something special to Elsa and Anna if your kiddos liked frozen they’ll definitely like this

Adorable

Saw this with my 3 year old. Very cute, she likes it and it has a cute message about holidays being about family, not stuff. The shirt plot: Olaf travels Arendelle to gather “traditions” for Anna and Elsa (since they don't have any). In an accident, he loses all the stuff and gives up. Meanwhile, looking through keepsakes - the sisters realize making a snowman & snowman themed crafts has always been their tradition. They find Olaf and show him that he’s their tradition - and then cheer him up with a song about how they don’t need presents or bells, being together is the best gift. There are obviously sad parts -the girls not having a tradition, Olaf losing his sleigh and feeling like a failure. That’s part of life and they work through it. If you want to let your little one watch a short holiday-themed film this is a good one. *Note: Though the theme is obviously Christmas, there is not any real religious content.

Awesome and fun for kids

The first film was garbage. This short is awesome, and even shares the fun story with toddlers! This is an amazing short, even better than Frozen Fever! (Frozen Fever is another short, sadly Common Sense Media does not have a page for it).

Olaf's Frozen Adventures

I would give the movie Olaf’s Frozen Adventure a five star rating. One reason that I liked this movie was because it was funny. When Olaf ate the fruit cake it can right out as well as the hot cocoa. When Anna and Elsa tell Olaf that he is there trudition, it is great to see Olaf’s face light up. I love the move Olaf’s Frozen Adventures and I hope you Love it to.

Not as dark as the original

With light hearted action sequences and a few songs this is a fun *short* film. If you liked the original and were not shocked by anything you saw there you will enjoy this as well.

Too violent and sad

I enjoyed this when I watched it first on my own, because I focused on Olaf’s cute song as he visits all of Arendelle looking for holiday traditions (and I loved the different traditions featured) and the sisters - however, when I tried to watch this with my 4 year old at Christmas - she most definitely focused on the peril. We had to fast forward over the entire Olaf in the woods stuff - the second that hot coal fell out of the sauna into the sleigh, she yelled oh no make it stop! And started crying, and I felt horrible. Also, it made her feel sad that nobody would stay and have a cup of hot chocolate with the sisters at the beginning when they’d set up that whole big party and then everyone went home after the bell rang. I kinda think she had a point. Turn it into a party for the castle staff at least!

Nice Disney Short

Perfectly sweet Disney short with none of the darkness associated with Frozen itself. The problem is that it is a short, 15 minutes of actual content, but is not marketed as such. We were disappointed with the length given the price we paid.

Holiday Classic

Wonderful story with beautiful animation. The characters are wholesome, and the story is just the right mix of holiday magic and adventure. Add the great musical score, and it’s a perfect holiday tradition.
