It’s time for Congress to finally take action to protect our kids and teens online. Two bills in the Senate, the Children and Teens' Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA 2.0) and the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), are what our kids need now.
COPPA 2.0 bans targeted advertising to children. Targeted ads are invasive and can manipulate kids and teens. And KOSA pushes companies to design platforms with kids in mind and prioritize kids’ well-being before profits.
These two bills are making their way through the process, but we need the full Senate to vote on them. Time is running out before this session is over, which is why we need you to act right now.
