2025 Summit - Dr. Nadine Burke Harris Receives the Marian Wright Edelman Award

Legendary civil rights and children's advocate Marian Wright Edelman defined what it means to put kids first in more than 50 years of bold, pioneering leadership. Common Sense Media is honored to recognize an innovator doing justice to her legacy and will be giving its second annual Marian Wright Edelman Award to Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, leading researcher, pediatrician, and California's first Surgeon General.
